Kemy, I have never heard of that rule, and I just reread the NASBA Candidate Bulletin to make sure– the only restriction there is that you take breaks at the allowed times between testlets. (I would also think that it wouldn't give you the option to take a 3rd break if that wasn't allowed!)

You should probably inform candidate care, and I hope you made of a note of that in the survey at the end of the exam also.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

Disclaimer: My ninja avatar is not meant to imply that I have any affiliation with this site other than being a forum member. That's a pic of a T-shirt that my daughter gave me for my birthday. 🙂

this website is a blessing and a curse. i didn't know about it for my first two exams and would check for my score usually a day or two late (as i didn't know they came out early) and it was like a bandaid. now i have sit here painfully searching for (clues?!) whywhywhy.

There are no scores to display for this section. There are no scores to display for this section. There are no scores to display for this section. There are no scores to display for this section. -__________________-

@Kemy & @Kimboroni; I have not heard of that rule either, and I have specifically asked about breaks at my test center here in OH. They told me break times are monitored, and extended and continual breaks will lead to a write up, which are breaks longer than 10 minutes… so if you take 1 break longer than 10 min, they ‘could' write you up, or if you took all 3 breaks all over 10 min, they could write you up. But if you are under the 10 min, you can take the 3 breaks without worry, as I did my last section and usually take at least 2 if not all 3 and have not had any issues. I think your center rep was misinformed, and I would def. agree with Kimboroni and contact candidate care.. anything that would alter your focus DURING the TEST (like potentially getting in trouble) should not be brought up incorrectly!!!

    Good Luck!!!!

I didn't think my REG exam was all that terrible and I felt fine as I made my way through the questions and then coming out of the exam. Of course, now that I've had time to let it simmer in my mind I feel it's almost certain that I failed just based on how awful everyone else thought this particular window's exam was.

I thought my second testlet was quite a bit more difficult than my first and that that was a good sign but now I can only think of how many of those questions I might have gotten wrong and how badly I might have done on the Sims. And even those “difficult” questions weren't on topics I was completely unfamiliar with. I'm desperately hoping that I just got lucky and either covered enough material in a broad sense or just got an easier exam in general because I'd really like to be 1/2 way done with this thing.

In any case, good luck to everyone waiting for results tomorrow! And as a side note for those waiting for BEC scores, if you don't get your scores tomorrow because of the bubble I don't think it's been taking them longer than a few extra days to release. I was in the bubble last window and received my score early Monday after the general Friday score release. Just wanted to reiterate my experience back from that score release thread so you know you won't likely have too long of a wait if you do end up in that situation.

Well I just got a letter in the mail with my BEC score. 65. Looks like I'll be retaking this sucker in October. Although what I don't understand is when I checked on the nasba site it still does not have my score listed. Am I doing it wrong?

Ahh so I'm so nervous. I felt really prepared going into my AUD exam but it was still fairly hard. I don't know if I'm second guessing everything/panicking but I'm really hoping for a 75! its my first exam…. Either way I will also be drinking! lol
