Can't believe the nightmare is finally over. I'm the worst test taker ever. Congratulations to all who passed and hang in there to those with parts remaining!!

    AUD 86 – Feb 2013

    FAR 67, 75 – Oct 2013

    BEC 76 – Nov 2013

    REG 68, 76 – Apr 2014

REG 83 not bad for only studying 31 hours total over the two weeks before sitting. I passed BEC with roughly the same amount of studying. What are the odds I can do that for FAR or do I really need to buckle down and study for that one?

@rockems I think 31 hrs is overstudying for FAR. try 15 hrs. or heck not studying at all. my coworker did not study for FAR and got 86

    Passed

@dannyc How did you get these great scores? A little bit higher than 75 seems perfect to me, which means you put the just right time to each section. You must have a great study strategy!

@huixjtu Haha I really feel like those scores were lucky. My study strategy was basically following the Becker plan – 1) did the live pass last summer, 2) went through at least 75% of the MC questions for each section, 3) went through all sims for each section, and 4) did both practice tests. Took all tests on Friday and took off work the entire week before (Sunday-Thurs) to study aggressively. I took hand written notes on all the complex areas that I encountered or questions that I got wrong, memorized those notes the morning before the exam, and wrote them down before entering the launch code. Oh and I also used flash cards for REG (I actually had my girlfriend who is not an accountant read them aloud while I attempted to answer them – makes studying way more fun and in my opinion, more effective). Lastly, just be confident and get a good nights rest. Good luck!

Ughh Failed Reg with a 73. What really sucks is absolutely none of the sim questions on the exam were covered in the becker review course. If they had just one of them covered I most likely would have passed. Oh well, I'll try again next test period.

    mashed: Damn, nice score!

driving: Look at it this way: you can't possibly have that much bad luck again 🙂 Go destroy it next time!

    I passed the final section!!!!!

Thanks to Jeff and Another 71, I could not have done it without you. On my 3rd attempt at REG, I finally broke down and rewrote my Ninja Notes. (I know Jeff, that is what you keep saying….). My score went up 14 points.

    Really happy, happy, happy!

Congratulations everyone! I recently got my score for BEC – 86! I couldn't believe my eyes – i had walked out of the test feeling iffy. Not awful, but definitely not awesome either. Couldn't be more grateful.

Next test up – REG… for the 3rd time! I got 73 two times in a row — hoping that this time around, I'll get it over with. Then FAR in the Fall.

Good luck with your continued studies to those of you in positions like me and a big congrats to all the official CPAs.
