@Lynelea…I believe those who take the exam on or before the 20th will be in the first wave. I took REG today and feel more confident than I did last time…it's always a toss up…we'll see.

This wait is by far the hardest part of the exam….I was so confident leaving Monday and had no doubts that I passed…Now im second guessing myself and the anxiety is starting to build….

I had a problem when I went to leave the testing center. I went out to the lobby to sign out and they said that I hadnt finished my test. We went back in and my computer was shut down 🙁 The administrator said not to worry and it happens all the time. She started it back up, I reentered my Launch code and it closed out my test and transmitted it. I really hope nothing crazy happened to my test. Has anyone heard or had this happen?

@greenli that sounds absolutely terrible. I've never heard of that happening to anyone but I'm sure you'll be okay. I'd be freaking out too just because everything didn't go that smoothly but I would think if you submitted your completed test on time that you're going to be fine. It would not surprise me if those archaic prometric computers give test takers more anxiety than the actual test does.

@bcc624 I was sooooo worried after FAR. I felt like the whole test was a disaster. I spent so much of my study time looking at leases and IFRS. I totally did not expect many questions on fund accounting and pensions. I felt like every other question was one of my worst nightmare questions. I only took 5 weeks to study for it. Walking out I thought I should have taken more like 10!

Luckily, I still passed. Looking at your scores on the other tests, you have nothing to worry about. Relax! You are done!! =)

FAR is a beast. I felt like there was no way i passed walking out. If you feel like you prepared and did all you could to pass….. You may have a fighters chance. If you think that there is any way that you didnt study that one module enough and that module was on your exam, you should be worried. I can't say it enought, but I will try: STUDY EVERY MODULE AS HARD YOU CAN AND BY HARD AS YOU CAN I MEAN, MAKE OUTLINES, STUDY OUTLINES, DO AS MANY MULTIPLE CHOICE AS YOU CAN, THOSE MULTIPLE CHOICE YOU DON'T GET RIGHT, DO THEM AGAIN, AND AGAIN, AND AGAIN!!!! Its not easy and you will feel like you're beaten down. Thats when you need to take a break and study AGAIN! You have to be fully committed to pass this exam. I haven't done it yet, but I came to the realization that if I'm not vested 100%, there is no way I'll even come close to pass it. Its going to be the toughest 18 months of our lives, but if you can commit 100%, it will come true.

FYI, I took AUD today using the methods I discussed above. I'll let you all know how it went!! Good luck all of the another71 crew!

@LittleMoe – The wait does suck. I'm studying for AUD and I try to keep thinking that my dedication to studying for the new section will somehow help me win over the CPA gods. In this way, they might allow me to pass REG. 😉
