For all those with CA score release questions!
CA Board of Accountancy updates their website once each day at 5 AM. So when NASBA releases scores, CA candidates will not know until the next day at 5 AM. They do not release on the weekends.
I'm not sure where chrisbrown3 is getting his info, but since he called it Cali, which we Californians NEVER do, I'm doubting what he is saying. I have never heard of someone getting their score over the weekend. Does NASBA release scores on the weekend? As far as I know they don't….
See below for an extract from CBA Exam Applicant Handbook https://www.dca.ca.gov/cba/publications/exambook.pdf
NASBA releases scores following the first month of the testing window, with subsequent score releases every two weeks for the remainder of the window. The CBA processes and releases scores for individual sections in the order they are received from NASBA. You may not receive your section score in the same order as you took them in. Scores will only be released online in your Client Account; the CBA does not release scores via telephone, e-mail, or fax.
The CBA updates Client Accounts once each day. You may view your scores online by clicking on the ‘Status’ tab. If you do not see your score after scores are released, please ensure you have selected ‘yes’ to question 8, under the ‘Additional Information’ tab in your Client Account.
