@CPAterminator I'm assuming you are referring to x-ray tech's? Those who take x-ray's? My mom probably makes 50k and has been doing it for 21 years. She isn't in a metro area so that may affect the pay a bit. They have major waiting lists to get into programs and people aren't getting jobs. Probably because people like my mother aren't retiring. I think you chose a much better field. Controllers make BANK
my co-worker is always telling me how her daughter and son-in-law are going to start school to become x-rays techs and do ultrasounds and all that crap. She told me the start pay is aroung 50k/yr and I thought it was bs. Once I hit the 70ks or 80ks, then I'll be good. 🙂
A mover el culo people….let's shake it…shakira shakira!!
I have been having fun reading all of your posts all morning….y'all are hillarious!! I am waiting, too and it is driving me nuts!! Waiting in Texas for BEC results….I passedAUD with 85% in April. OMG this is taking FOR-EV-ERRRRR!
@CPAterminator. I think as a tech guy, you might be in risk of being exposed to x-rays for a long period of time. That is why those techs have to wear a pin indicating how much radiation, if any, they might have been exposed. Also, patients came in and out, if they vomited or anything like that, it's the tech's responsilibity to clean up the lab as well…
