Score Dreaming”… now, that is an interesting topic. Nolan should make an “Inception” theme film about this. In my experience i keep dreaming about the BEC score out on Feb 22. I guess it keeps coming back in dreams because i woke up at 5 am, still half asleep to check the score. It took me about about 15 seconds to register that the 81 was above 75 and then came the screaming in silence to avoid disturbing anyone in the house. Then came the restlessness and had to put on my tennis shoes and walk for an hour.

For REG, back in November 2011, so much time has passed since my last score in May 2011 that when i received the 84 I started crying (scratch that, it was more like noisy sobs) in the library. It was such i relief. 4 months studying and I started thinking I had lost half a year.

Once again, we are all gonna cherish these type of stories later on in life.

i would do anything to get a passing score on REG on Thursday….it will feel nice to be at the halfway mark and have passed 2 in a row…but i know i didnt pass…blew a whole simulation with no partial credit..I wish i never looked up how to do it when i got home cause now i feel terrible..i will have to ace the mcq's to pass this one…god forbid i pass 2 in a row and get ina groove…god doesnt like me enough..

i dont even want to study until i get the result so i know if i should keep studying for REG or move on…so thursday needs to come fast!

We can do this! I am patiently awaiting a BEC score, but I won't be surprised if I didn't pass–I didn't study long enough and totally blanked on some easy calculations; I know I Aced the WC, though.

Ihatestudying: This whole process is a test on endurance, patience and comittment. The way it worked for me was to approach this with a patience that needs and Olympic Medal! My first focus was on FAR, spent 4 months studying before sitting for the test. I didn't begin preparation for the next one until i got the score for FAR. After that first credit the only thing you need to have in your mind is that you have 18 mths and that is the equivalent of an eternity of studying. Focus on one at a time and give yourself enough time to study which is proportional to the degree of confidence you need to ace the exam. Always study up to the point were you tell yourself that you did everything you could and there is nothing else you could have done. And never cram, it should be a natural process of truly understanding things, not just memorizing stuff.

I wish you the best, and never, ever give up.

i have been at this for so long….mostly my fault…in the beginning didnt take seriously enough and didnt study close to as much as i should have been..then in 2009 i passed reg , i got cocky and took time off like an idiot and befor eyou know it, a few 70's and 69's later and i lost it and back to zero parts…..so i started getting back on the horse and passed audit in februar, and i really wanted to re-pass reg on first try so that my confidence builds and the finish line would be in sight…..but i dont have a good feeling about this one at all after those sims, especially the one i know i bombed

Those awful nights filled with dreams of accrued liabilities, cash flow statements and NPO accounting did not go away even after I finished the exam last week. I fear they won't go away until I pass this exam! For my mental health, I need this score and I need it to be above a 74…

    AUD (10/31) - 85
    REG (4/03) - 82
    BEC (4/23) - 82
    FAR (5/29) -

@BDO…don't scare me like that! I just logged on to the TSBPA site and it was as slow as molasses…I was hoping that meant they were updating scores. 🙂

we should find out our results as soon as we finish taking the test..its graded by computer anyway..why make us wait and be tortured….although a week or 2 is much better then waiting 2 months like it used to be.

    REG - 5/31/12 - 78
    BEC - 8/31/12 - 77
