    KY FAR – 68

This was my first exam and I ran out of time studying – I only got through five of the ten chapters in my Becker program, and quickly skimmed 1 1/2 – 2 more chapters. I had plenty of time during the exam, and after completing all of the sims (and spending a lot of extra time on two of them) I still had an hour left. I didn't feel rushed or stressed, but there was definitely a distinction between what I had studied and what I hadn't touched.

I didn't reschedule because my next three exams are already scheduled, and I wanted to go ahead and see what the test was like, knowing that I probably couldn't pass. I still attacked it with confidence, and I'm not too disappointed with my result.

My strategy for FAR in October (and the other three exams coming up in July and August):

-Watching all of the lectures again

-Reading the book, making extra notes and really learning the calculations and journal entries

-Working all of the homework MCQs, taking notes on the incorrect questions or lucky guesses

    -Working all sims

-Completing cumulative progress tests after each chapter

-Giving myself 1 – 2 weeks for comprehensive review, including many progress tests and the two practice exams

-Taking breaks when I feel overwhelmed, but not walking away for more than a day

FAR is broad, but it isn't complicated. I'm excited about my next attempt. Meanwhile, back to AUD!

    Congratulations to everyone who passed!

Oklahoma is out! 89 on FAR, 90 on REG.

Took FAR on April 22, REG on May 8th.

I felt good about REG, not so much on FAR.

I used CPAExcel. Watched all videos, and also supplemented with Wiley Test Bank. Overal WTB score for FAR was 80, REG was 81.

    Congrats to everyone!

No time to celebrate, I've got AUD next Wednesday.

    FAR (04/22/14) 89
    REG (05/08/14) 90
    AUD (05/28/14) ??
    BEC (??) ??

Thanks for the words of encouragement whowf2002 and justwant 75

I've been using becker, now I', buying Jeff's stuff for AUD, we'll see how FAR goes. I've got two chapters, and a cram review left.

I took off all this week to study, it's really going to suck if I fail it too.

I'll get out of the dumps in minute, and back to it.

Once again, congrats to all of you Passers!
