Oooh, nerve-racking. Maybe it will be in my mail tomorrow… I am too self-conscious to ask because I don't want people looking at my score though. And it seems like everytime I try to contact Kim she doesn't answer. So now stalking the mailman begins again. Thanks for the update!

Does the NASBA have off the day after thanksgiving? If so is there a chance that scores will start being released before thanksgiving?

I am almost positive that the day after Thanksgiving is considered a business day in NASBA's calculation of the score release. From what I can tell the chances of getting scores before Thanksgiving is almost non-existant. So hope for Friday the 23rd .

I disagree. I think scores are coming out the day before Thanksgiving. Day 45 of the test window was 11/14. If you look at the NASBA release schedule, they list 6 business days at 11/26. Those 6 business days are 11/15, 11/16, 11/19, 11/20, 11/21, and then 11/26 (6BD). That assumes that Black Friday is not a business day, so the business day before the NASBA scheduled release would be 11/21, day BEFORE Thanksgiving.

I didn't actually count it out but you are right. They aren't counting the day after Thanksgiving as a business day. I know normally the online scores go up the business day before the released date but I have a hard time believing it will be the day before Thanksgiving because that ends up being 5 days early when normally it's just a weekend that seperates the days. What do you say to a friendly wager on what day the scores come out?

I agree, I'm hoping I'm wrong and I get my scores early, but by making a wager I'm hedging my bet so that either way I'll be happy on Wednesday. What do you say loser has to post on this forum in all caps that they were wrong and the other person is the most majestic, skilled, and good looking accountant in the world.

Got REG retake score in the mail today (in Oregon). 73

I'm so disappointed. I lose my BEC pass 1/14/13. So I have to pass this next time. Not sure what to do at this point. I studied with Becker (which I don't like at all), but I don't want to pay for a whole new course review. Should I just supplement with some ninja audio? The yaeger cram course is $295, which may be the way I go, I benefit from having something to watch, rather than just listen to. I already have the Wiley text book.

Grr, I can't believe I have to study for this test again. 🙁

@ceepa – maybe you should call Kim or you'd have to wait for another day…

@bitchycpacandidate – did you use Wiley online test bank??? If I were you, I'd go over your notes if you handwritten any before and then do MCQs – Wiley online test bank and your Wiley text book.

I'm studying for REG now (my last 1) using Becker, a lot of things are very confusing to me and I think once I do the MCQs, they'll start to make sense. After using Wiley test bank online, I passed AUD, FAR, BEC on my first try (failed AUD first then bought the online test bank).

DO NOT GIVE UP. It took me 5 times to pass it but I passed it because I did not give up. You already have passed three parts so you are capable of passing this test. To me REG is the toughest part of CPA exam. I had KAPLAN then I used BECKER. Listen to Jeff and do tons of multiple choices. If you study very hard you will pass. GOOD LUCK.
