    Texas is out!

PASSED AUDIT!! This was the one I was most fearful about….. I simply can not ever “get it”. Got a 76. I'll take it! Good luck to everyone else as they continue to find out their scores.

    FAR 7/5/12 - 81
    AUD 10/2/12 - 76
    REG 11/14/12 - 85

    I'm DONE!

@M – Thank you for your kind note. I'm sorry to hear about AUD. I was lucky enough to have to pass it TWICE!

Regarding your BEC exam, I highly recommend using Jeff's Audio for BEC. It is a really great comprehensive review that you can listen to daily – over and over. Especially, the last two weeks prior to your exam.

My issue with all of the exams was timing during the actual exam. I did not leave myself enough time to finish most of the exams that I took. Make sure you have an exam day plan to give yourself enough time to get through the entire exam.

I would also practice the structure of the written prior to going into the exam. That is an easy 15 points. Here is the simulation style/structure I used when I passed:

Intro paragraph – State the purpose of the letter/memo to discuss the current issue; restate the problem; state that you will discuss the answers to the issue

3 meat paragraphs – topic resolution; topic resolution; topic resolution

Conclusion paragraph – restate the problem high level; state that you hope your evaluation with the issue was helpful for the reader to expand their understanding of the topic; state that you would be happy to assist them should they need further clarification.

I hope this helps! Best of luck on your CPA journey M! I am happy to help any way I can.

I took BEC on 10/20 in NY and my score still isn't up (4881)…I know all about the “borderline theory” and I'm strictly asking for anyone else who took the same test as me on the same day in the same state with a score up. Thanks!

    REG 90

    AUD 98

    FAR 92

    BEC 10/20

    @Supervisor From the AICPA website:

    Q. In the score release table there is a column labeled, “Day in Testing Window,” and an asterisk with the text, “Records received by AICPA.” What does this mean?

    A. In a vast majority of cases the AICPA will receive scoring data on the same day that a CPA candidate sits for the Exam. CPA candidates who wish to improve the certainty of the score release date are encouraged to take the Exam at least one day prior to the cutoff date.

I have taken reg unsuccessfully three times with around the same grade. Studied till I was blue in the face and never showed up on the test score. I saw the ninja notes for reg and said what the hey I tried everything else. I made and 80 on my exam I think a lot of it was just reviewing the whole book quickly the evening before exam. They are worth every penny.

Need advice. I just passed AUD (yay!) and am sitting for REG the end of this month. Any recommendations on whether FAR or BEC would be best to take next (assuming I pass REG)?

    AUD Passed,84
    REG Passed,84
    BEC Passed,77
    FAR 69,63,84!!
