Ray168MemberTHANK GOD, THANK EVERYBODY!!!
“Bad to fail, worse to fail with an 74.”
I took AUD on 8/24/2012, FAR on 8/29/2012.
On 9/11/2012, I received two scores: 74, and 74 … I guess 9/11 was indeed a horrible day…
I cried, terribly, for two days, thinking that God must hated me so much that he punished me with two ironic 74s…
And then I told myself, maybe I didn't even deserve any 74, God loves me a lot so he encouraged me with two promising (and expensive of cause) 74s.
So I reschedule for 10/10 and 10/19.
And I passed them, with an 92 for AUD.
I called my mom, who didn't even know I was studying for the exams.
With REG and BEC I passed on 5/24 and 5/29, I PASSED THEM ALL.
I appreciate all help from everybody.
Thank God, thank God, thank God!!!
Thank my mom, for loving me no matter what.
REG: 5/24 (PASS, THANK God and thank Mom!!!)

74 sucks… Sorry about your result.
After 8/24 AUD I thought I would fail with a 50, but got a 74.
After 10/10 exam I thought I would pass with a 90, and got a 92.
I think you may want to take a good look at the score report you are about to get. I did studied really hard on the “weak” parts from last time. And I am lucky this time, nailed the research one real quick. Last time I spent about an HOUR for the two researches, and still wasn't sure…
btw, FAR is a totally different story.

Ray168Memberlol That's exactly what I told myself for whole two days after 9/11. I stared at the screen for about 10 minutes just to make sure I wasn't crazy seeing two 74 on one day.
Know me or not, I am not a bad person. I did nothing to make anybody hates me. So I would rather believe God LOVES me. 🙂
I only spent 40-hours on AUD last time, b/c FAR scared me more. I really think 74 for the effort I spent, is a MERCY. God loves me, oh yeah.
It's just a matter of “half empty vs. half full”.
REG: 5/24 (PASS, THANK God and thank Mom!!!)
BEC: 5/29 (PASS, THANK God and thank Mom!!!)
AUD: 8/24 (74...), 10/10 (PASS with 92, THANK God and thank Mom!!!)
FAR: 8/31 (74...), 10/19 (PASS, THANK God and thank Mom!!!)November 9, 2012 at 5:59 am #386449
Ray168Memberand I agree, 58 indicates that much more effort is demanded. 🙂
REG: 5/24 (PASS, THANK God and thank Mom!!!)
BEC: 5/29 (PASS, THANK God and thank Mom!!!)
AUD: 8/24 (74...), 10/10 (PASS with 92, THANK God and thank Mom!!!)

rossbennyMemberI don't think a failing score is a result of anyone hating anyone as opposed to how well you know the material. Whether it be a 2 or a 74 is irrelevant because it's binary (meaning pass/fail, unless you are going for the Sells award)…..
A 74 is as useful as a 32. However a 75 is as useful as a 99…..
FAR 7/28/12 77
BEC 8/31/12 82
AUD 10/12/12 58 2/8/13 78
REG 11/30/12 64 1/5/13 80November 9, 2012 at 6:19 am #386451
sln1000MemberThanks for your words. Was disappointed. May b god wants me to put more effort. I got 78 in REG after getting an awful exam. Ok something to cheer about. Need to be patient till jan 13 to become CPA. I was really desperate to change my job after finishing CPA. Got to show lot of patience and wait longer to enjoy the feeling of completing CPA exams. Success is just delayed. It's only a matter of time . I will ensure that I prepare well next time n slay the beast. This 74 has made my CPA more valuable than what it would have been. It has made success more sweeter when I will achieve it.
Thanks once again.
