My heart goes out to those employees (and everyone else) who were in the path and had damage, losses, etc.

However I must ask since I am currently cramming for FAR, am far behind, and am taking it on Nov 30th…

Is this because I failed AUD on Oct 1st and God wants to me focus on cramming for FAR for another week before I get all depressed and pout for a few days… that way when I finish my tantrum, I won't be as far behind as I would have been?

The situation in NY is worse…. Will take atleast 2-3 weeks to recover completely I thought. Hence I estimated it will be end of this month when results are released. I hope it gives me a pass at least.

Where is the sympathy people?! I think if you were in direct hit of the hurricane, the last thing you would think of is the score release! Its not like the AICPA is NEVER going to release the scores. I had no power for two days and it was already hard but to imagine those losing their homes and love ones because of the storm, is unimaginable. Have some heart and while we wait a week or two more for our scores, just think about those who lost their homes and families. Smh on some of the comments on here.

I am disappointed myself but please understand how Sandy has affected NJ and NY. I can't even get online without seeing pictures and just crying. So many lives have been affected by this and it will take years for some to recover. An extra week or two to get your score results is nowhere near as damaging as this storm was in our area.

It's disappointment and frustration, not lack of sympathy. We all understand that NY and NJ were the worst hit. However when I hear AICPA I immediately think about their largest offices in NC, which were not impacted by Sandy. I had no idea until today that exams are graded in NJ.

They knew a hurricane was coming….move the processes somewhere else so they can come out on time. I don't think these things (Hurricanes) spring up out of nowhere.

Just received an email from NASBA…they will be delayed a week or MORE….

My guess is that they will take advantage of that the MORE word….
