SynergiexMemberThey always do this. This is my last part and I need to know if I passed or not so I can start studying or finally start enjoying my life again! Not to mention my credits will expire in March, so next window would be my last chance. Just to make things even more complex, I will need to take it in the beginning of January, as that would be the only time I can take due to start of busy season!!!

ToriParticipant@Vagrant I agree with you on the lightly tested topics. I switched to the Wiley book and test bank because there is no under emphasis on topics. You need to know everything equally and be able to answer questions on the material like an expert. No more Becker for me… we just didn't gel together…

CPA2BinCAParticipantHI Everyone,
I'm new to the forums. All the ‘Pass' posts are very encouraging. I took AUD on Dec 6th and don't see my scores yet. Next to AUD it says ‘No Credit', but at the bottom of my status page, it has update showing that I took AUD on Dec 6th.
Do they post the score only when the candidate passes, or do they post if the person failed?
I am so tense right now, hope someone in CA can help!

sherrick13MemberWell, nothing for OK.
I guess it will be Monday.
Not happy about it. Why can't we be a NASBA state?

SonjaBlueMemberFor CPA2BinCA . . .
California posts your score and score report when you pass and when you fail. It takes a couple of days for them to update the rows “at the top” that say “No Credit” with your passing score. They don't update that section if you fail.
To see your score and score report you do have to scroll to the bottom of the screen where the status is currently showing that you took the test. When the score is finally released, that information will change to reflect your test score and a “button” becomes available for you to click on and view the results of your testing by CSO (Content Specific Outline) section for MCQ and SIMS (weaker, comparable, stronger).
I think – based on the date you took the test – you will have to wait another 6-7 days for your score to be released.
Also, you have to have selected to be notified electronically for your score to be able to view it the way I described above.
Hope this helps!

CPA2BinCAParticipant@SonjaBlue, Huge thanks for explaining that out for me. I have to wait 6-7 days? That is going to be so painful. But at least i know to look for that button. Had you not mentioned the ‘button, I would have just stared at the ‘No Score' field until they finally got around to updating that line.
thank you!
Btw, congrats on your BEC score! That must feel really good!

SonjaBlueMember@CPA2BinCA. You're welcome! and Thank You for the Congrats! I would have been devastated if I failed; I said no to spending a lot of time with my husband and daughter these past weeks of studying and I would have felt like I gave up that important part of my life for “nothing” if I had failed.
I remember panicking and wondering if CA would get scores released on Saturday and another person on the board told me that they would. Now I know that they do get released on the weekend because both my passing grades were received on a Saturday.
BTW – The “button” is rectangle shaped and says “View Score Report” – but you'll already know the points you received because this section will say “Advisory Score – xx”. The report just gives you a little bit more information on your performance as compared to test takers who passed the exam.
I do think that you'll get your scores in another week; I'm pretty sure the NASBA site says that scores received after the testing window closes take about 6-7 days to be posted. The window closed November 30th; those scores released yesterday for the NASBA states and today for the non-NASBA states. I would imagine you'll see it on the 14th or 15th.

CPA2BinCAParticipant@Sonja, good thing you explained that these scores being posted are for the Nov 30th window or I would have made myself miserable checking it non-stop all of next week (kinda like what I did to myself whenever I was at a computer today).
There are not too many accountants or even people who know much about the CPA process in my circle of friends. It gets a little old to tell everyone that, ‘I am/have been studying'….ALL the time. Thank goodness for this forum.
Enjoy the next few weeks with your family – you have lots to celebrate!

FigtonMemberJust got my score for FAR, 58…I'm not sure how to feel about a 12 point drop from the last time I took the test. I'm going to move onto the other sections and hopefully will comeback fresh in April. I think the main reason for the drop is that restudying for the same test is a very painful, draining process and that's why I thought giving another review course a try – I suppose that it didn't pan out like I hoped. But I feel more determined to pass now after receiving a 58!
