I passed!!!! my first exam.

been over a decade since I was in college… studied on my own with slightly older material… ran out of time on the sims and didn't even open 2 of them and I got an 80. I am crying! My first exam and I am so psyched to move on to auditing!

Still sick as a dog and no score. I hope this means they are actually looking at my essays. I thought they were good. The MCQ's did give me a bit of problem. The calculations were fine, but some of the vocabulary-type got me. Apparently when I was thinking “Is that even a real thing!?!”, it WAS a real thing. 🙁

Not happy with Becker about now…Whoever said it isn't enough for BEC, is right.

I'll check back between naps and let ya know. Grumble.

I passed FAR! 78!! I am so happy. I have passed all of the exams, but lost BEC & REG because of the 18 month rule. FAR was the scariest for me and I feel soooooo much better now. I have passed the other two and I will do it again.

I used Becker review material, Ninja study plan (early morning and late studying) and Ninja audio.

Thanks guys for all of your comments, suggestions, and support. Even if the comments were not for me, I read them and learned from them. Those comments made me realize I was not alone in this CPA exam battle. That was a huge amount of support thru my battle with AUD and FAR.

For those of you who did not pass in this window, I have been there and know your pain! That pain can be horribly frustrating making you want to throw in the towel. KEEP GOING and DO NOT GIVE UP. I am living proof if you stick with it, you can do this!

Again, I am not done but my outlook has totally changed! I know I can do this!

I called Kentucky yesterday and they said they are not in the office on a Saturday so even if they get the file they won't be posting it until Monday. I wish AICPA would not announce Saturday release dates if there are non states that aren't going to be releasing until Monday.

I'm actually not too upset with a 74. I thought it would be 70-73. I did well on MCQs, but ran out of time on the SIMS. I put 0 in the last THREE! Oh well. Onward and upward.
