Does anyone else think the ethics course is the biggest pile of sh*t when it comes to requirements?
I mean Ethics was covered in REG, touched on in AUD, and briefly discussed in BEC.
Maybe I'm just ranting here (again), but if any CPA was to engage in an unethical act, I don't think they would consult their AICPA course and say, “Hey, wait, Tim Olinto, said that embezzling from the slush fund is unethical.” Nope. They're going to do it anyway.
But hey, what do I know, maybe this ethics course has stopped a modern day Jeff Skilling in their tracks.
