I can't believe it. I just had a weird dream and woke up now to find the results are out. Its 2 AM here EST

Passed FAR with 90 even though I had only 50% feeling of passing. Used Becker. Still have 3 to go.

Congratulations to people passed.and good luck to the ones failed,

Passed my first exam…FAR with an 86. I thought it was 50/50 chance and score would be between 70-80. I knew I didn't bomb it, but an 86, for reals? 3 to go. Couldn't believe it, told my colleagues I felt demoralized by that beast – I was over prepared in 90% of the test areas, and it kept asking me questions in the one area I was unsure. I guess many of my guesses were correct!!!

How do they grade these things, seriously ?!?! The second testlet was ridiculous, questions in depth like no wiley test bank question even dared to go down that deep. Perhaps my saving grace was good time management, answered all of the SIMS. Just wanted to post my experience so others that haven't received their score and perhaps felt like me coming out of it…have some hope, you might have passed with room to spare 🙂

@menachem did you study for these at the same time? I would advise only focusing on one section at the time. What kind of learner are you (visual, audial, kinetic)? For me, hand writing example problems & solutions worked well. You can do all the questions but it won't matter if you don't learn from the ones you get wrong. I'd advise taking smaller sections on material untill you're scoring 80's on it. If you've memorized an answer, don't click it till you can say why it's right and the others are wrong. Write every wrong question, answer, and reason. If you have someone who will listen, “teach” them. If you can explain to someone the answer then you probably know it. It takes a long time but it's worth it.

I happened to be awake, really it's not like I was waiting around for anything, oh yeah, NASBA site to come back up with TN REG 541 scores. So glad I was up. REG 88. One down three to go.

    Best of Luck to Everyone!

Using Bisk with Ninja Notes & Ninja MCQs. The Ninja MCQs and simulations really helped. I had bought the 10 point combo when it was Wiley but the additional cost for the Ninja test bank is totally worth it. I made sure that I covered every MCQ multiple times in both Bisk & Ninja and did all of the simulations. In doing this, I tried really hard to stop myself from just putting down what I knew was the right answer from the previous pass, but to take the time to consider why it would be the right answer. A lot of time spent and I was beginning to think it was overkill. Now I'm a believer. It was totally worth it as it helped me really understand the material. I really like the Ninja MCQs as I was able to target those areas that I was trending lower in and mock up quizzes based on those until I really understood it. I was trending 85 before the simulations and then down to 69 during my first pass at them due to the nitpicky zero cells and not understanding some of the questions. It went back up to a 91 but I don't really count that since I did the simulations over and over until I nailed them. I almost didn't do the simulations because I was running out of time, so glad I stayed up until 3 am two days before the exam making sure I understood every single one. This enabled me to get a better understanding of the testing format as well as contained some additional material.

Are they done for the night?? I still don't have my score BEC 539 CT. I took my test on the 16th….can you be in the bubble even if you took it that early in the window?

    FAR 81
    AUD 87
    REG 77
    BEC 8/16/14

Doubt that when you took the test would affect whether or not you're in the bubble.

But doesn't it mean my test went to manual grading? They really couldn't have done that in the last 3 weeks that they've had my results? I always thought the bubble was reserved for those who took their test on the last couple of days in the window.

    FAR 81
    AUD 87
    REG 77
    BEC 8/16/14
