    @bear92

    Ohhhh one of those who gets a break between school and work to study 😉

    In SC we only need 120 hours to sit, so a lot of students take the exams during grad school (and a lot of programs incorporate Becker). I started a grad program but ended up working instead (had 2 undergrad degrees so I'm over the 150 req). I knew it varied by state but I really like the ability to sit with 120 hours. It gives students more of an opportunity to study while not working.

    EDIT – wait, you said MN? Don't they only require a bachelor's to sit?

    REG - PASSED! 8/8/14 (81)
    FAR - PASSED! 11/24/14 (87)
    AUD - PASSED! 1/9/15 (87)

    Future BEC Essay Question:

    Your client, Mr. Green, is suffering from a mild panic attack due to receiving a notice from IRS subjecting him to a field audit primarily concerning his Business Use of Home deduction. Write a letter to calm him down by putting his situation into a more global context. Include an introductory paragraph, full discussion of his scenario, and a conclusion.

    @CPA junky- I hear you your philosophical tangent! I just have to put things in perspective for myself sometimes, you know? If I fail, I will be mightily disappointed but it will not be the end of the world (at least, that is what I keep telling myself!). Plus, I have dinner riding on this score- I fail, I pay. I pass, BF pays! 🙂

    @nolan3387 when I got my 92 in audit I actually did that! I had to write a nine on paper and look at my calculator to be sure I knew what a 9 looked like.

    Would a prelim. score after each exam really be that difficult? Even a color….green/yellow/red for instance. That way you would know to keep studying or move on to the next section.

    @AuditORAH- good luck. I took Audit for the first time this window and my gut is telling me I am within 2 points of 75- just hoping it's a 77 and not a 73 (I got a 73 in BEC- sucks!)

    When I got my 90 in AUD the AUD scores didn't start releasing until about 4:30 that afternoon (3rd release of Q2). So I calmly drove home, poured a glass of Maker's on the rocks, then checked my score. Felt confident I passed but that 90 was so sweet. Downed the entire glass!
