@islandsoulchild – Is the cost acct pretty basic, or is it real tricky like in the homeworks?

It would really suck if the NASBA scores didn't come out until tomorrow?

    AUD - Passed
    BEC - Passed
    FAR - Passed
REG - Credit expired, Retake (08/02/2014)

I totally agree @CPAin14. Auditing makes sense to me. Cost has never clicked for me, I managed a B in the actual course only because i could cram the formulas for each test. Now that i have to know everything at once…i'm doomed.

    AUD - 65, 89!
    REG - 70, 89!
    FAR - 78!
    BEC - 77!

    Finally!

@CPAJunky Definetely look at this thread (https://www.another71.com/cpa-exam-forum/topic/bec-written-communication-2) for how to approach writing portion of the exam Jeff does a really good job outlining it. I also started studying for BEC yesterday to take next Wednesday and I found doing about 200 MCQ before even starting can show you which areas you “know” pretty well already and could focus less on. That could be a real time saver when trying to cram into a week

    FAR: 7/1/14 (85)
    REG: 7/28/14 (88)
    AUD: 8/22/14 (84)
    BEC: 8/28/14 (83)

So, if I failed do I have to pay the full fee again or can I just pay the testing center fee to retake the exam before the NTS expires?

    F-Pass
    A-Pass
    R-Pass
    B-Pass

    I'm a CPA!

@MC Guesser – You take a 200 problem progress test?

@wmotley524 It is a tiered rescheduling fee. Up to 5 days before, I can reschedule for $35, up to 1 day before I can reschedule for like $66, after that, the entire fee is forfeited.

I emailed my specific states NASBA representative to ask him, but I think I am going to wait until about 2 days before the exam, and if they still don't have it, pay the $66 and reschedule it.

Worst part, however, is I already have REG in October and AUD in November so I'd wind up taking it at the beginning of January, despite already being all studied for it now.

    @tigerwoods

You never know with these exams…I feel like it just depends on what questions you get the day of.

I also blame it on the fact that my exam started at 4, and I am a better test taker in the morning.

Any problem is a review software is far more complicated than the actual exam. In Becker they would use ridiuclous numbers like 1,450,684.

On the exam the numbers are like 1,000 or 2,000.

    BEC 8/14/14 - Passed
    Graduated from college 12/13/14
    AUD 8/31/15 - 74. Retake - Passed

@CPAJunky i used Ninjanotes MCQ (comparable to WTB) which has a little over 1000 MCQ problems so I did 300 and saw that I needed to focus a little bit more on AIS while only skimming corporate governance etc. Its definitely a good starting point when trying to budget limited times

    FAR: 7/1/14 (85)
    REG: 7/28/14 (88)
    AUD: 8/22/14 (84)
