@bbrandenburg10, it looks like you took REG only two days before I did. How did yours go? I felt pretty good about the multiple choice part but then I felt like I ran into a wall with some of the simulations. I've been seeing several people make similar comments about REG this time around.

    AUD - 83 (Feb 2014)
    FAR - 84 (May 2014)
    BEC - 78 (Oct 2014)
    REG - 72 (Aug 2014), 76 (Nov 2014) DONE!!!!

In that case I'm 551 🙁 @wannabedone I felt the same way…the simulations were terrifying to say the least for REG

    AUD: PASS
    FAR: PASS
    BEC: PASS
    REG: PASS

@WannaBeDone, that describes it pretty well. The subject matter of the sims was familiar, but I found the literature to be difficult to navigate. Once I figured the literature out it went a little better. Fortunately, I had practiced searching the literature on the AICPA practice test.

Yeah, who knows, maybe it will turn out better than I thought. I didn't feel good at all coming out of FAR in May and I ended up getting a better score there than I did on AUD which I had felt pretty good about. A former coworker of mine who took REG back in April said he didn't feel very good about the simulations either but then he ended up getting an 81.

    AUD - 83 (Feb 2014)
    FAR - 84 (May 2014)
    BEC - 78 (Oct 2014)
    REG - 72 (Aug 2014), 76 (Nov 2014) DONE!!!!

@WannaBeDone – I am hoping this is the case! I am in agreement with everyone about REG! I didn't like the simulations, not that they were overly difficult but I am just unsure about them. Fingers crossed!!!

    AUD - Passed
    BEC - Passed
    FAR - Passed
REG - Credit expired, Retake (08/02/2014)

WOW! I have been so stressed out about REG and the SIMs that I forgot I took AUD too, waiting on two scores 🙂

549 in MO and waiting on REG to either be done or knocked back down to half-done.

I agree with what everyone's been saying-REG sims were ridiculous!! I felt relatively comfortable that I got maybe 2 right and possibly 1/2 the points on two others, so maybe 1/2 of total points for sims…at best. Here's hoping guessing “0” on parts of sims can score at least a few points:)

    FAR - 75
    AUD - 72; 87
    REG - 64; 74; 84
    BEC - 88

    Done!!

@KA1987, I personally found that studying for AUD went better than it did for REG because AUD was almost all conceptual. One of the reasons I was so amazed that I did better in FAR than in AUD was because while studying I have been finding that I tend to do better with conceptual questions than I do with calculation questions. I had a feeling that might be the case because with things like calculations, real-time experience has always helped me learn better than test questions have. If you're like me, if you can pass REG I think you'll be just fine with AUD 🙂

    AUD - 83 (Feb 2014)
    FAR - 84 (May 2014)
    BEC - 78 (Oct 2014)
    REG - 72 (Aug 2014), 76 (Nov 2014) DONE!!!!

    @longshot

I feel the same about my REG sims. The topics and amount of detail blew me away. This score release will definitively confirm (in my mind) whether these exams are curved!

    FAR - 95
    AUD - 98
    REG - 92
    BEC - 10/4/14

What do the numbers 549, 550, etc. mean? Is it the first 3 digits of the section ID?

    AUD - 92
    BEC - 76
    REG - 83
    FAR - 72 RE-MATCH AUG 2014

@NCcpaHopeful, yes, it is the first 3 digits of the section ID and from what I have heard they go in numerical order when they are releasing the scores for each exam. That's why I was kind of disappointed when I found that I am 547 for REG and BEC because I was 534 for AUD and FAR so I might have to agonize even longer for REG and BEC 🙁

    AUD - 83 (Feb 2014)
    FAR - 84 (May 2014)
    BEC - 78 (Oct 2014)
    REG - 72 (Aug 2014), 76 (Nov 2014) DONE!!!!

Thanks! I never knew that!! I am 545 so I guess I might have a while to wait. I just checked, I was 534 last time with FAR and I remember not getting my score until after 1:00pm. It was HORRIBLE. I feel like I did better this time…..so hopefully the wait will not be as agonizing.

    AUD - 92
    BEC - 76
    REG - 83
    FAR - 72 RE-MATCH AUG 2014

From what I understand the section ID number is based on when you received your NTS. If it is a very new NTS, it will be higher. If it is an old NTS set to expire, it will be lower. (Just an observation though, so correct me if I'm wrong 🙂 )

    REG: ***92*** (5/14/14)
    FAR: ***83*** (8/17/14)
    BEC: ***89*** (10/3/14)
    AUD: ***86*** (2/22/15)
