@wsurfers, yes she asked me for my first and last name and said score will be released today. Representative told you were borderline? Is that how she phrased it?

@wsurfers I can't believe they would let you know you were in the borderline group… wow… is borderline like 2 pts off or 1pt away and how do they determine to put you over or not. I just wonder.

Good Luck to all the borderliners… hopefully they will have mercy and give us all at least 75… 🙂

Which brings me to another question what exactly does the Advisory Score mean if it is't based on the number of questions you got correct. I thought I read somewhere the score isn't based on the of correct answers.

@wsurfers, when did you take exam? Perhaps borderline meaning date you took it? There are people who receives non-borderline passing scores today.

I just spoke with a NASBA rep, who wasn't willing to give me any information about me, but when I asked about the borderline theory, he stated that it was complete “conjecture”. Hang in there everyone, try to remain positive during this torturous time!

    BEC 73, 74, 80 (3rd time is the charm!)
    FAR 77
    AUD 80
    REG 82

Ugh!!!! I just called the Oklahoma Accountancy Board and was told that they will not receive score from NASBA until late today….and that it might take 24 hours to get them posted to the state website. I hate that they think we are clueless as to how this process works! They want us to be patient and be OK knowing that we are dealing with the most inefficient state board in the country!!!!!!

    BEC 7/19/12
    FAR ???
    REG ???
    AUD ???

I spoke to someone from NASBA and asked if I did not receive my score by today, I was a borderline candidate but she did seem hesitant when she told me that.. I just spoke to NASBA and they still do not have my test scores so I don't know too much more..

I'm thinking this borderline theory is who took the exam towards the end of the 20th day. Ok let's take a poll, who took it towards the end of the 20th day. I sat on the 17th.

Started sitting in May 2002, on and off. But since 2008 I've been nonstop and my scores are....
    AUD - 39, 48, 56, 65, 68, 73, 76!!! (Finally passed in Oct 2011!!!) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    REG - 75 (Lost Credit) 72, 68, 73, 75 (Passed again in Aug 2011) Becker, NINJA, & Wiley
    FAR - 65, 68, 75 (Lost Credit) 68, 73, 73, 80 (Passed again in May 2012) Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
    BEC - 65, 68, 71, 72, 72, 71, 76 (Lost Credit)- 70, 76!!!! I AM DONE!!! - Roger, NINJA, & Wiley
After 10 long years of studying, I AM DONE!!!! Finally a Licensed CPA in the State of New York!!

OAB(Oklahoma) is the WORST ! A rep at NASBA specifically told me that NASBA released scores to all state boards on FRIDAY. Which I already knew. So why does the OAB not understand that NASBA has already released scores to them??? And why is the turnaround so long for us to be able to see our scores on the state website???

    B - 79 PASSED (1/4 there!)
    A - 77 PASSED (1/2 there!)
    F - 79 PASSED (3/4 there!)
    R - 83 PASSED (DONE!!!!!!)

I took BEC on 7/1. Still waiting. 478 GA. All of my passing scores in the past have been close to 75, so it may have somethign to do with it. Also BEC may take longer because they may take a second look at the written portion.

Either way, I took this exam on the very first day of the window… and I'm probably going to be the last one to get my score back. TORTURE! Good luck everyone.

    NEVER GIVE UP!
