Just got the same email. I do have a question though. This is the first exam score I am waiting on so I am curious how it works. Do they usually release the score at a certain time or is it random throughout the day. I just don't want to be sitting at my computer all day hitting refresh.

    Audit - June 2012: 80
    Reg - August 2012- 82
    Far- October 6 2012 - 71. Retake Jan 2013 - 76
    Bec- December 7 2012: 78

hi everyone! I am sitting for FAR August 9th in hopes it will be my LAST CPA exam ever! I am nervous I need more time, however, I want my test score to be released August 22nd (or whenever Nasba is releasing the Day 21-45 scores).

My question is…. I calculated day 45 to equal August 14th. Is this correct? So, if I move my exam to August 14th, this would qualify for Aug 22 release waive? (I know Nasba says that is the date they receive the scores, so there is a possibility Nasba could receive my score a few days after August 14th, and throw me into Sept release waive).

But in the best case scenario, does Aug 14th = day 45?

    B 71, 74, 84*
    A 74, 72, 69, 74, 87*
    R 80* ... lost credit... 82* done forever!!!
    F 68, 68, 74, 78*

Yep, I've gotten five 74's! Wah!

Here's the deal with score release stuff … There is the “official” date … and then there's when they are actually happening and so far, they haven't been congruent.

Same type of stuff was said last quarter … the estimates on this site were accurate 😉

Seriously almost had a stroke when I got that email. All I saw was “CPA exam score release” and conveniently skipped over the word “schedule.” Whew. Well, at least that jolt of adrenaline should keep me going through my next set of BEC MCQs

    REG- 53, 91
    BEC- 88
    FAR- 62, 85
    AUD- 85

    Ethics- 93

They won't send us an email like that when the scores are posted will they. I will just have to be sitting at my computer all day right?

@proach — Yeah, on the day they release the scores you just have to stalk the website. They'll send you an official email with your score in it a few days after the big score release. When I took FAR I didn't even know when the score release date was and ended up getting the email before I knew there was a website I could check.

Jacquelyn, I didn't calculate if it's day 45 but if you counted from July 1st correctly, it should be. It's always a bit of a risk taking it the last day of the “wave” because there is a real possibility that it could be thrown into the next wave of scores released in September based on when your scores are received. I've seen it go both ways and it also depends on when in the day you take the test. To be absolutely sure, I would take it a day earlier.
