@ jomarie – I started this CPA journey about a year ago (went back to school to take accounting classes with kids half my age). I took my first part in July with 1 baby, a pregnant wife and working full time. With all of that, your dedication to the CPA exam and determination inspire the heck outta me. Go get em girl, here's to a 75+.

@jomarie ….what are the basis of your prediction? what do you think about people saying that we have been border lined.. You have taken the exam so many times.. what you think about border line theory?

Waiting for BEC NY 484.. had a dream last night that I got an 80 and I was so happy and relieved in my dream, worst part was waking up and realizing I still don't know my score!?!.. good luck to everyone waiting for their score tom!

@mikeF…do you agree with the “borderline theory?” when you got your passing BEC scroe, did you get it immediately or did you have to wait?

I agree with the “borderline theory.” My first failing BEC score came in the evening of the release date. My second failing (borderline 74) score came after waiting for a few days. It was similar to this release…..scores began coming out on a Friday and I did not get mine until Monday. This time (my passing score), I was busy all day and did not have access to check my score. I arrived home at around 5pm and my 80 was there. I have a friend that took sat for BEC the same day, in the same state, with a lower NTS and he has still not received his score…for whatever reason.

I really take issue with these score releases. It is what it is and we have to do what we have to do….I get that and I abhor victim mentality. That said, for as hard as we have to work and for as much as we have to know and for as flawless as we need to be on test day…..this scoring process/score release and the uncertainty surrounding it is ridiculous.

@ Mike F. , so are you saying if I didnt receive my score by friday. and dont get it till monday or later, then my chance of getting a passing grade is less? Are there people out there that got a failing score for BEC on friday? or do they only give out the passing grades for BEC on friday?

I got my score early yesterday morning. I live in California. I finally passed Audit on my second attempt. I got an 84. I took the test two weeks before my baby's due date. My newborn is my angel. For those who passed Congratulations! For those who got a score below 75, it's okay! Try again! I didnt give up even with a baby on the way. I kept studying and studying. If my morning sickness and sleepiness didnt even stop me, we should keep trying. Goodluck everyone!
