On the AICPA official website, the tentative release date is 8/6/2012 for candidates who took their exams between day 1 to day 20. Therefore, I don't understand where the 8/3/2012 mentioned in this forum is coming from.

Jeff can you please clarify this confusion?

Are the results expected to be released on 8/3 or 8/6 ?

    REG: 68, 75
    AUD: 80
    BEC: 77
    FAR: 24, 67, 69, 72, 80 Thank you Lord!!!!

@Path To CPA…there's nothing to clarify. The score release page that Jeff set up will give you the information that you need; Jeff has not been wrong on his targeted releases yet.

Thanks Jeff, musicamor and kim4 for responding to my post. Yes, I've read the score release page and I know that Jeff target dates were right to date. My question is: why is the AICPA posting a target release date knowing they will release the scores earlier? Is it done on purpose so that the candidates will have the feeling that their scores were posted earlier than expected and thank NASBA for its great job (lol)?

    REG: 68, 75

I think the AICPA's date is when they have targeted for *all* of the scores to be released. Jeff's date is for when they are *starting* to be released. As anyone who participates on the score release thread can tell you…the score release takes an excruciatingly long time.

    FAR -- 90
    AUD -- 95
    BEC -- 82
    REG -- 92

    DONE!

    @ Kim4

Your explanation makes sense. I guess all we have to do now is cross our fingers and counts the days. Why is waiting so painful?

uggggh, I do not know, but it is painful. I'm trying to forget about the score release until at least the day before. At least I can pass the time studying for REG — fun fun.

    FAR -- 90
    AUD -- 95
    BEC -- 82
    REG -- 92

    DONE!

11 days to go and I'm already getting VERY nervous and anxious, waiting for REG score (last part)… I hope I passed!

@Kim4, judging by your previous scores, I believe you have nothing to worry about. I, on the other hand, have EVERYTHING to worry about!

@eclipse…I am on my last part as well–best wishes to you!

So I took BEC on the 7/21/2012

I am confused if saturdays are business days and sundays are not does that mean I took my exam on day 17 (this is with not counting sundays and the Fourth of July)

    Is this Right or Wrong?

I'll buy that they shouldn't release scores instantaneously (I think they could, but I'll accept that they want to have some reviews / checks in place). But if the test is analyzing our performance on the first sections to determine the difficulty to give us on the later sections, shouldn't the scores be available on a rolling basis, perhaps a week after the exam? It's too painful to bear. I sat for REG on 7/9 – it's the part I dreaded the most, and now I'm trying to study for FAR to sit on 8/7 but I feel like I can't ‘let go' of any of the REG info in case I have to retake it!!

    AUD - 8/29/13 (77 in Aug 2011 expired)
    REG - 75 (July 2012)
FAR - 78 (July 2013) (<- the only one I didn't pass on first try (took 3!) but now I took it DOWN!)
    BEC - 79 (Jan 2013)
