I took the BEC 481 on August 23rd in NY…. I wish they would just release all scores at the same time this checking every 5 mins is stressing me out… This is my first test… is this normal for the scores to be released over days like this?
I took BEC on 8/30 and got my score of 79 on 9/11. My report shows stronger on every single content area for MCQs, but weaker on WC. I finished all WCs with 4 paragraphs on target according to Wiley format, but that was still not good enough.
My point is that for BEC your comparable MCQ score is borderline if WC is also comparable and not stronger.
I told my coworkers that I most likely failed and that I'll find out for sure next week. It did work because they stopped asking me if the score is up yet. I'm now able to do a little work while regularly checking here and hoping that one of us, starting with Ihatestudying will post a passing score and send the good vibe to the rest of us.
Wait, @mooky9, if you pass you get a score report with your performance broken down? I didn't receive one but I got my score yesterday afternoon. All I received in my email was a document saying that I passed.
@Mkzara It is only for BEC. Since there are written communications, some of the tests are pulled for human grading. Presumably if you are borderline pass/fail, yours may be pulled so that someone can grade your writing to ensure that the computer didn't miss anything when it graded. It's all a big mystery about how/why it is done really but that seems to be the best guess around here. There is no borderline for any other test since the computers can easily grade SIMS.
