nvgoldMember@momto5 Thank you so much for sharing your insights about the CPA study. I use Becker too, I will definitely follow your leads on my FAR and AUD studies, the two I have left. My problem is that I am not a good test taker; I just get so anxious and panic during the exam, that makes really difficult for me to read the questions well. As for the BEC, it took me twice to pass, first one I got 74, I just got my score back this morning for the second round I got 78 thank God for that,I know I lost a lot points on MCs, but WC I did fairly well for both tests, I think the Becker’s WC lecture helped a lot, it makes the Written part seem much easier after reading the lecture tips, at least worked for me. Thank you so much @momto5 for sharing your knowledge. Good luck on coming BEC!!! 🙂

nvgoldMember@CPAwanabe Did you got that ‘ole 74? Man that was tough, I was sick for two moths because of it, I mean the ‘ole 74 damaged me both mentally and physically! I really feel the the score 74 should be banned completely from CPA grading! I used the Becker on BEC, I did just like momto5 did, listen the lectures, do a lot of MC questions, progress tests, but I hate doing notes though, and I just posted my take on the written part in my last post in which I said the Becker's WC lecture was a big help to me. Also I bought the Becker's final review part for my second round study, I went over the final review part two days before the test, like two chapter a day, it helped to connect some BEC knowledge together in a concentrated form, I think it was a good addition to the Becker's regular review course. That is about it, let me know you have more questions..I really know how you guys feel right now, I have been there.that was brutal..I am not good at on CPA study either but hope this helps you a little bit..Good luck CPAwanabe!

AnonymousInactivePassed BEC at 76. This is my 2nd attempt; I got 74 on my first attempt. I only took the only income taxation class in USA , I only studied by myself at home. I used CPA Excel and Wiley Test Bank. CPA Excel gave me basis knowledge but because it ‘s a review course, my understanding is not deep after reading. Wiley Test Bank is extremely helpful to me, it helped me to know my weaknesses. I thought I got higher marks but my score is only enough to pass. Anyway, thank God!

futuremdcpaMemberCongrats everyone!
I took BEC on the 8th of August.. according to Jeffs predictions the scores should be released 8/22? I am a non-NASBA state (MD), and should see it on the 23rd.. Is this correct? Or am I not going to be in the release window? Also for BEC, the majority wait was about 1 week right?
Appreciate everything you guys contribute to this forum!!! Thank you 🙂
REG: PASS || BEC: PASS || AUD: PASS || F: SCORE PENDING..

AnonymousInactivethanks @nvgold.. i acutally got a 72 🙁 defintely agree that a 74 is pure torture!…I did all the lectures and homework and took notes in becker. I guess i have to wait to see where i went wrong when i get the letter from nasba. have to decide if i should go with roger next time or get becker final review. I dont want to fail again , I just want to be able to learn from where i went wrong and fix it so i can pass the next time.

nvgoldMember@CPAwanabe Oh one more thing I forgot to mention, I knew I failed the first one because of my WC, so I reviewed the all the Becker WC simulations the night right before the exam date, that made my written piece went pretty smooth, I still had some extra time left after I finish all three parts.
