I'd be shocked if something was released early. I'd love it if it were true, but I'll be skeptical until I log in and see a score. Jeff, do you mean we should treat early score release as a non-current asset? As in don't expect it to happen this year? 🙂

I saw some of you are also from Illinois- hopefully ILBOE is quick this time. They just updated their website saying score release would be around the 6th or 7th. My guess (and sincere hope) is that someone wasn't careful when looking at the timeline- they've always at least been on time with the schedule in my experience (with the obvious Hurricane Sandy exception- but they still managed to release ahead of the revised target date).

Well now I'm part of the waiting crew for both Wave 1 and 2!! Ugh, waiting sucks. Wave 1 – FAR, Wave 2 – AUD. Good luck everyone!

So, I am wondering if the days in testing windows are business days or just calendar days? I took FAR today (1/26/13), and it falls in the first 20 business days of January. I think waiting for the scores is the worst part of this whole process. I took a whole week off from work to study for this exam…

How does everyone include their score information on their each post? Is it done automatically somehow?

    REG 10/02/12 – 79

    AUD 10/31/12 – 93

BEC 11/30/12 – 76 – THANK YOU WHOEVER IS UPSTAIRS FOR THIS ONE, BECAUSE I DIDN'T DO ANY OF THE SIMULATIONS!!!

FAR 1/26/13 —-waiting for the score till Feb 25??? impatiently…

k917 – I'm right with you there. FAR for wave 1 and AUD for wave 2. At least we'll get one soon to hold us over!

Bertsetseg – It's calendar days. And you can set up a signature by clicking on your username at the top of the page after “Welcome…”.

Waiting 30 days for AUD is going to kill me! I hate ILBOA…does anyone else share my affection or lack thereof for the Illinois Board of Examiners?

    REG 80
    BEC 71, 80
    FAR 76
    AUD 67, 83
    I'm done!!

    Soxfan866 – Thank you! 🙂

Jambueh – I share your feelings about waiting for 30 days, since if passed this will be the last exam for me too. Though I am not in Illinois I think I can share your feelings about Examiners.

k917 and soxfan866, looks like we've got a little club going, as I am also FAR Wave #1 and AUD Wave #2. 🙂

jambueh, yeah, I agree ILBOA is a little slow, and I wish they would outsource to NASBA, but at most they should only be responsible for a day or so of your 30 day wait. The AICPA is the slow point- ILBOA usually is only one step slower than NASBA. I feel your pain though.

Seems like some people already have taken their ethics exam before passing the 4 exams. How do you do that?

@Bert – ummm, you didn't do any of the SIMS for BEC? Tell me more.

    AUD: 84
    REG: 84
    BEC: 79
    FAR: 83

@Bertsetseg – I'm in CT. We just have to order the Ethics exam from our state board. While they recommend completing the CPA exam first, it's not a requirement. I bought it and finished it during lunch one day at work. One less thing in my way once I finish the exam.

@badger and soxfan – I'm glad we have each other to get through this wait!! Funny that we ended up with the same exams in the same windows.

SamDiego— I just didn't have any time for the Simulations for BEC, I guess I take my time for the MCQs, which is a bad thing, obviously… finished all of simulations for AUD. For the rest of the exams I have taken, I would just run out of time before even looking at 6th or 7th Simulations. Did the same thing for FAR today, I leave the exam feeling terrible… But you know for BEC, 85 percent of your score is MCQ, i still cut it pretty close… I was worried the “Advisory Score” will change and go down or something when I saw 76 on the screen.

@Bertsetseg, I think each state has a different ethics requirement. Illinois uses the AICPA's course- you just listen to the DVD and take the test. Some states issue their own exam. If your state uses the AICPA's course, then just set aside a nice quiet day, brew your favorite hot beverage, listen to the DVD, and then hop online and take the test. Very easy stuff. Probably a little too easy (hey, not complaining), considering how important ethics is in practice.

Also, some state CPA societies can get you a discount on the ethics course if you join. I wish I had known that earlier- I could have gotten a membership and the ethics course for the same price as I got for the ethics course only.

For once, I'm actually looking forward to Monday. Yet another day closer to release 🙂

So just got a tweet from jeff saying Ninjas expect scores released this friday?! But AICPA is for next tuesday, february 5, so i wonder if it is safer to not get our hopes up until Monday the 4th.

Why did Jeff and the ninjas predict 2 business days earlier this time around? No one will know, but lets hope he is right.
