@tmgolf318 Unfortunately the AICPA couldn't do this since the CPA exam is curved based on how other test takers in your window fared on it. I agree though, the process definitely needs some revision.

@New Dad, NASBA headquarters are located in Nashville, which is in the central time zone, so that gives some extra time in theory.

@tmgolf318, I totally agree. If they are allowed to stick us with pre-test questions so they can do their statistical analysis on each question, then they should be able to give us an MCQ score right away. There might be other reasons but I don't feel very charitable towards the AICPA at this moment in time!

@Starlight, while you're correct, the headquarters are in Nashville, scores are released from the NJ office.

Every test I passed, I used Ninja Notes. Couldn't have done it without them!

@Go_Frogs88. The GMAT people have developed the exam to grade each question as you go. you get it right, you go to a harder question. you get it wrong, you go to a lower question. In effect there is a natural curve that should develop statistically based on the scoring system. much more intuitive and you have a clear understanding of how you get scored.

@occams_razor, the AICPA has a NJ office that does the grading and they send the scores to NASBA who do the actual release. NASBA does have a satellite office in NYC, but they do not have one in NJ.
