@serg8522 – actually the “old” CPA's were the lucky ones. They had 1/2 the FASB's that we have, no IFRS, less tax law, less regulation, no SOX, less Audit requirements, etc……..

    BEC 68, 84
    REG 76
    AUD 84
    FAR 71, 81

    And I am DONE!!!!!

@villain, if the scores aren't released today it won't be “Seriously, NASBA,” it will be “Seriously, AICPA!?” NASBA doesn't get the scores and sit on them.

I thinks I will develop an OCD waiting for scores. Back in my IT days I would get a score as soon as I would hit finish.

    FAR - 88
    AUD - 85
    REG - 82
    BEC - Late Feb/13

Anyone else have a really low NTS? I am VA 481, but I refuse to check my score until someone else has posted that they've been released. But I feel like mine will be released first! Someone else with a low NTS better be checking every 10 seconds!!

    BEC: (4/2012) 88
    AUD: (5/2012) 91
    REG: (8/2012) 82
    FAR: (1/2013) 78 🙂

My theory about why the scores take so long to release is that the AICPA line about how the “CPA exam is not graded on a curve” is a bunch of bull. I think they wait until each “wave” of test takers is complete, then adjust their scoring according to a target pass rate. The AICPA see themselvs as the “gatekeepers of the profession” and they're under pressure to make sure there are enough CPAs to meet market demand while maintaining enough scarcity to ensure near-full employment for licensees.

Tdeadman, there was a little less to study for, but those days candidates had to pass all parts within 2.5 days. That's a real pain in the ass

    ✓REG 81 (10/13/2012)
    ✓FAR 82 (01/14/2013)
    ✓AUD 61 (05/23/2013), 93(07/01/2013)
    ✓BEC 79 (12/04/2013)

Keely – edfeld has an earlier #. Mine is 494 so I'm just relying on him to get it first and then I'll check. so nerve wracking!

    F - 85 (11/2012)
    R - 87 (1/2013)
    A - 92 (2/2013)
    B - 90 (4/2013)

    DONE!

“meet market demand while maintaining enough scarcity to ensure near-full employment for licensees.”

Love it. So the AICPA is like the Fed and the Fed funds rate is the pass rate. Tons of entertainment in that concept.

    BEC - 5/2012 - 91
    AUD - 8/2012 - 89
    REG - 1/2013 - 90
    FAR - 5/2013 - 88

Serg, there were 4 parts then. They sat for all 4. You had to pass AT LEAST 2 parts for any credit. Then you could retest the others.

Sooooo, really, you didn't have to pass all 4 parts in 2.5 days. You had to pass 2 parts. Then later you could pass the 3rd, then the 4th.

With less info to know, I would have studied for AUD and BEC only. Got the credit, and then gone for FAR and REG separately..
