    @DeVon82, scores don't expire until the end of the non-testing month of the window. Your BEC score didn't expire on 1/31, it expires on 3/31.

    Scores only ever expire on 3/31, 6/30, 9/30, and 12/31.

    So even though it says 1/31/13 on my CPA Central it really doesn't expire until 3/31/13? Thanks for your help. I keep waiting for sombody to tell me “not so fast…”

    @wizards8507 How do you figure? My NASBA login shows two exams expiring on 8/21/13 and 2/21/14, exactly 18 months after my “Received” dates.

    @DeVon81

    @bdavis89

    Maybe that rule is by state? If so, my fault for the misleading information. New York is pretty clear:

    You may take the required test sections individually and in any order, but are required to pass all four sections of the examination within a rolling 18 month period, which begins and ends at the end of non-testing windows (March 31, June 30, September 30 or December 31).

    Examination credit expires by section. You will lose credit for each section passed outside the 18 month period, and will have to retake those sections.

    @wizards8507 – Not true about score expiration. I took REG in July 2012 and passed. My score expires 2/28/14.

    Sorry, did see you already posted to say probably differs by state.

    And my post was wrong. I took REG August 2012. So I actually have 3 days less than 18 full months because there are only 28 days in February 2014.

    @k917, I think we're figuring out it's by state. My 5/23/12 AUD score expires 12/31/13, which is 19 months plus a few days. Same deal with my BEC.

    Looks like New York is different (and more friendly). Bummer for the rest of us…

    Bottom line – I shouldn't have to worry about my BEC score expiring because it shows as expiring on 1/31/13 and I took my last test and passed it on 1/4/13, right? It shouldn't matter when I was notified that I passed, just when I took it, right?
