We officially find out our scores THIS month!
I've also been wondering about the BEC score release…I know they said the 22nd, but I wonder if it's like before where they gave a later date than the other tests. I've taken BEC a couple times (passed the first time but it expired >.< ) and I've always found out the same day the scores for the other tests were released. Even if it's certain it will be released on the 22nd, I'm going to be going crazy from the 17th until then haha.

I hope y'all are right about “early” BEC release. They've had plenty of time this release. I understand a longer wait under usual circumstances, but this should be plenty of time.

I took FAR and BEC in Q2, so I'll take an early BEC release. I'm pretty sure I failed it but I would rather know sooner rather than later.

I took BEC on May 30th and do not remember a damn thing. I'm so involved in my work that I can't possibly go back to studying.

I felt really good about the exam, but BEC sims were a bit too easy (which could be bad if everyone dominates them) and the IT was just too random. I have no idea how it will be graded

The extra 5 day wait is just a giant F$#k you from NASBA… silver lining is that the website may not crash on the 22nd and we actually get some sleep that night.

This wait is actually killing me. Did anyone else just get that email from NASBA “CPA Exam Score Release Schedule”? For a second, I had a half thought that it would be moved up.

Based on the email the BEC scores are officially going to be released 5 days after the other three.

From Nasba:

Due to the substantive changes to the Uniform CPA Examination, effective April 1, 2017, the scores for the candidates who test during the April/May 2017 testing window will be released approximately 10 weeks following the close of the window. The expected score release dates for each section are outlined in the table above.

Because of the changes, time is required to conduct the standard setting process, which includes statistically validating candidate performance and setting a passing score. Anytime the Examination undergoes significant changes, a passing score is set so that the assessment remains legally defensible, which is common practice for a high-stakes examination.

SOME candidates who take the BEC section might receive their scores approximately one week following the target release date due to additional analysis that might be required for the written communication tasks.

@a1lessio Same here and I don't even work in public. I try to work a few questions but I can only get through about 40 a day, nowhere close to amount that I was hittin daily back in May. I'm just too busy. Stupid fiscal year end.

Does anyone else just periodically go to the score release website and type in your info hoping that somehow they released the scores early and just didn't tell anyone? Only 15 more days. . .

@meghann84 – more than I would like to admit. I have been doing it since June hahaha

I am actually very very surprised that they are actually releasing it in August. I genuinely thought that they were REALLY overestimating the amount of time they needed and, if they could release it early, they would.

I do think that the scores are 100% ready and they are just voluntarily not releasing them early. I understand they dgaf about us but I would think that it would be less of a headache for them if they just released the scores already.
