@danko1983 Don't you hate that question, I just want to reply “well i showed up, i sat there for 4 hours and took a test, other than that no idea how it went”
@jordan.davis. that is very impressive, excited for you. God willing, you will have a huge celebration in 10 hours. Goes without saying, but good luck!!!
@hiracpa – I have accommodations so it's even worse for me. I sit there for 6 hours. To be fair, I usually do have a feeling, but I'm also superstitious and would never reply anything beyond “doesn't matter, it's over and done with, onto the next one.” Except this time there is no next one….
@SallyCPA I felt like they were extremely comprehensive and detailed, so I didn't feel well about them. They came across as questions with so much information that the test makers were trying to test how well you can read compared to how well you know the information. Flipping back and forth between documents/questions took too much time. They should change that.
@Jordan.davis I totally agree. Every single one of my FARsims required so much flipping back and forth between supplemental docs… I would've killed for a second monitor or to print off the info so I could look at everything at once!
Breaking up all the sims into three separate modules is by far the hardest transition for me. I was so tailored to just saving the last 2 hours to flip between all the sims, but now you have to break up the sims time between the 3 sections… and I was so scared I would take too much time on the first or second set of sims and the last set would be harder and I wouldn't have enough time… so I felt like I was rushing through the sims. AHHHHHHH I am about to leave work… this is just too much! haha
@danko1983. I am definitely very superstitious too. Since it's my first one, I don't know at all if i can trust that feeling. This is my first, and I'm so nervous. I cannot imagine if this is your last night.
@danko1983 and @jordan.davis – can you guys consider yourself a CPA's in 8 hours and 45 minutes?
@Hiracpa I don't think of myself as a CPA in 8 hours because being prideful is the best ingredient towards being humbled. Pride comes before a fall, so stay humble, work your butt off, and pray you do well. I honestly think I got a 68 on my test, so that's another reason I don't think of myself as a CPA.
How would an organization, such as the NASBA when they release CPA exam scores, respond to a DDoS attack or similar ordeal affecting the traffic and access to its website?
A. Antivirus Programs
B. Sustainable Bandwidth
C. Off-site data centers.
D. Mirrored servers
@jordan.davis. I do agree, humbleness is the most important. However, id imagine at your stage, you've worked so hard and if all that's left is paperwork and submission, then you should feel extremely proud and accomplished. There is nothing wrong with enjoying the hard work you've put in. I completely get the hesitation before you know the score, so trust me, I get that. But God willing, when you pass, enjoy it.
