@tskits75: I think it's in our nature to ask how others did. Whether to determine if we're better than the other candidate or trying to get “a gauge of how long to study for a section to get a certain result”. As a new candidate, I feel comfortable disclosing my score, especially since I talked about the score I expect to get for each exam. If each exam goes the way I think it will go, I wouldn't have any problem with someone asking me how I did.
At the end of the day, whether you pass all four section with an average score of 75 or 96, we're CPAs and what matter is the work you do in the real world, not knowing the intricacies of a sale-leaseback transaction or accounting for partnerships by rote memorization when it can be easily researched and discussed amongst colleagues in about 30 minutes.
