i”ve been looking but I can’t find the cpa exam date listing anywhere. I would like to start studying soon but I don’t want to end up buying a 2011 study guide, only to find that I can only sit in 2012, or that I failed and have to retake the test in 2012. Does anyone know where I can find a schedule of exam dates?

Also, does anyone how best to go about buying a study program in 2011 and not having to buy a brand new one in 2012 if I dont pass this year?

The exam is given the first two months of each quarter. Check the prometric site (prometric.com) to find out which dates are available at the test center(s) most convenient to you. You have to have your NTS and to have paid for the exam before you can schedule it, but you can check availability without having done that.
