    Hello All-

    Here is my situation:

Sat for the FAR section on 2/25 and am waiting for the scores. It is the first section I have taken and the first time I have taken it. I scored between a 70-90 on all practice materials but think I will probably in the 65-80 range.

    My question is:

Do you think I should go ahead and start studying for the next section or wait to get the scores to see if I need to retest and study more on FAR?

    Just curious about your input.

Go ahead and move on. You will most likely be surprised by your grade (I find that most ppl are, including myself). If you need to take it again you can study later, but if happens that you passed then you would have wasted time. You will definitely have to study for the other sections eventually so you might as well get a jump on it.

Definitely move on. There is only reason I would ever say to study for an exam that you don't have results back on. That would be be when it's your last exam & you are working on a huge time constraint with expiring scores if the results on that part aren't good. Many people on this board are in that boat with expiring scores in April. Only then I would say study for that part just in case you'll need to take it “quickly” after receiving your scores. In your case though, move on. You'll have time later to study for FAR if you need to.

I vote “Move on”. There is a lot of downtime waiting for results, you might as well move on and study for the next exam. Plus I'm a BIG believer in taking 2 exams per window. And I do not believe in “keep taking the 1 exam you failed”.. noooooooooooooo… With each exam I learned more information about another part of the exam. I believe in “keep moving”, taking 2 parts in every window, and don't stop studying a section because you found out you had failed another one.. keep moving!! 🙂
