I am a TX candidate. I received my letter and all necessary paperwork from the TSBPA two days ago. I found out I passed my last exam on June 27th. So it took them a week to get me the paperwork to complete for my certificate. I have everything ready and am sending all the paper work in tomorrow. They review new certification paperwork weekly so it shouldn't be too long before I can officially call myself a CPA.
In Texas, the files I had to complete after passing all 4 exams were:
– an Examination on the Rules of Professional Conduct (25 MCQs, took about 3 hours to complete)
– Oath of Office; signed and notarized
– Confirmation of Work Experience Form
– Statement of Supervising CPAs work experience
– Statement of CPA candidates work experience
– $50 CPA certificate processing fee
– Completed application for issuance of the CPA certificate
– Proof that you have completed the 4-hour ethics course (if required; My MS in Acct college course covered this)
– a updated transcript (if you obtained a new degree since you applied for exam intent).
