I originally planned to stay up as long as necessary tonight to get my BEC score. I got my snacks, I got my Netflix…but I wonder if I’m just setting myself up for more frustration. Anyone else in it for the long haul tonight, or are you just going to wait and check tomorrow?

I'll be up, but I'm pretty sure they will release BEC scores tomorrow morning…I don't want to keep my hopes up. The NASBA has been pretty good at trolling lately.

Nope. We have no idea if they'll release overnight, or tomorrow during the day. I've been up the last 2 nights anyway so I may take my phone to bed just in case, but I need some sleep.

@jen-J please give me any advice as to how I should prepare to retake FAR. A 93?!?! I got a 63 so im just asking for a modest 12 point increase. Plan to begin studying Mid July after I take REG and sit early september.

If you're in NY and you took another test this quarter – go to the Official Score Release Board.

@taxshark – not sure what to tell you. I definitely overstudied, I was so sick of FAR when I finished, and I spent 13 weeks including a few vacation days from work on it. If there was anything you didn't finish studying last time of course that's important, and if anything has changed since your last exam. Good luck!

No. The message board here. A lot of NY Candidates are discussing a possible glitch. If you get your Score Report (the eye in the Portal) a lot of them have CREDIT next to BEC if they also took another section. Some says CREDIT and some says NO CREDIT. It's either a HUGE glitch or candidates in NY got SUPERRRR lucky!

You have to have taken BEC and another section though because the glitch appears on their score report. They're talking about it in that message thread.

@babel: I think you've been on another message board where people were talking about this. I was just giving the other folks a heads up.

I'm in Minnesota and our score releases always come out 2 days later so I'll find out at midnight how I did.

I don't know if this is legit but there are reports that people are seeing credits on their BEC. If you took a test other than BEC in the 2nd quarter then you should go to the NASBA portal. You should see an eye icon below the view score form. If you click it you get a pdf and it will show whether you have credit or not. I see credit on mine but nobody knows if it's true or not. It might be different from state to state.

I am not sure if the NY accounting board is aware of this lol. I don't want to have too high of a hope but have a strong gut feeling that it is legit. if you read the 2nd paragraph on that report, that says it all.
