So I’m thinking about the score release in late September and I will be taking FAR on October 1st or 2nd, most likely. Should I look at my scores in September (BEC,AUD) or wait until after I take FAR. I imagine it will be hard to not look but maybe it would be more beneficial so as to concentrate on FAR and not the past exams.

Opinions?

Personally, I wouldn't be able to keep myself from looking. I know this. But if I COULD, I'd probably wait until after FAR.

I know that it would be impossible to not look! I mean really, I would have no self control at all knowing they were sitting there ready for me to look at…I am thinking trying not to look would be more distracting than looking and accepting whatever the verdict is.

Besides, perhaps if you didn't pass you can take away something from that experience you can use to better prepare for FAR. I guess you would already kinda have an idea of things you would have done differently…

Oh just as a piece of advice, if you decide not to check your scores until after and can really do it, stay AWAY from the thread about Jul/Aug Score releases. Don't even click it for a second. That thread makes my blood pressure rise just waiting a few hours from the announcement of a score release. Don't. You'll thank me…….. 🙂
