Hey, I may not be liked for what I am about to say but I am sick of the people who come on here and never post anything helpful. All they do is come on here and suck up information and the only time you here from them is when they post how wonderful their score was or when they’re asking about advice because they failed a test. Contribute to the form instead of simply taking from it.

Shouts out to people like Allyson, KB24, the two herbs, Minimorty, T-rex, keeptrying, CPAman, KillaKing, pshustler and kandisjoy who always contribute to the form!

I agree with keeptrying and acct, when I lost my credit for REG I felt like a complete failure, I didn't think that happened to people. A year later I found this website and I realized it was common that people lost their credits and that really, really helped me. I think with this forum we all learn from each other and we can get encouragement even from failures, we just have to keep our heads up and keep going at it.

mnCPAwannabe, I don't think my comments are harsh at all. I can understand being a newbie and you don't have much info to share but some people obviously just come on here and contribute nothing but a score. Some advice is good whether its simply how you felt leaving a test or your thoughts on a review program. Simple stuff. I just hate when I come on here during release time and see all these names I've never seen before. They've taken 2 or more parts and haven't said a thing on the forums but ” I passed with an 85″. I mean come on.

@HazeEastwood- Thanks for your kind words. But I'm afraid I do get on people's nerves sometimes. For example, I've annoyed many people recently because I've been whining about my REG experience. If you think about it, if the AICPA would release scores a lot faster, I wouldn't be whining as much.

Haze, thanks for the shoutout. Like pshustler this forum has helped me, and I enjoy giving back. The only people that bother me are the trolls. While I found that connecting with others going thru the same experience really helped me, I understand that not everyone feels comfortable posting. I only have one issue with the score release posters. While I'm glad that they've passed or sorry that they failed, I'm more interested in the scores from the people that I've gotten to “know”. They can be tough to find when sifting thru lots of pages.

To add to the general discussion, I use to contribute alot to posts but in the last months I have been discouraged due to what seems to be small alliances popping up…. Nevertheless I have always suggested this site as a great resource tool for fellow co workers and classmates

@ HazeEastwood, I personally dont feel a need to post until if I have something meaningful to say. Scores out or not, if its not meaningful or going to help the next person then there is no need to say “Any word on Reg or FAR… or ask a question about why ur section is greyed out” its pointless and only adds more comment to the site and prevent someone from actually reading something that can help them. You havent added much also to this site. You started a conversation about people in GA? Really that suppose to be a post on a forum? Now if other want to keep commenting all day thats their decision and I aint mad at them. Yes people dont comment until they receive a score and it does clog up the forum but we cant prevent that. but I know now you are done with your exams but before you were done I am sure you wanted to know what state were receiving their scores and what NTS.

Hi to all! I felt a little guilty after reading this thread and it inspired me to register. I didn't have any advice to give and no comments to add, so I was just kinda lurking. I started preparing for the exam this summer and this forum has been a great resource for me in both the support and advice areas – hopefully I will be able to pass some of that along to others.

It is incredible that some others are willing to help those of us who are struggling with the exam. I think I will gladly stick around and help others our when I am in the position on having the entire exam passed. Right now, I really don't know what to expect for half of the tests since I only took 2, and be patient and invest in us and hope that we pay dividends on the forum to the rest of the people who will be looking for advice in the near future 🙂
