Just found out this morning that I passed REG which I had taken on 5/14/2011

First attempt and my very first section. Cheers to a hopeful clean sweep of all 4 sections!

I was very intimidated of approaching the CPA exam considering I've been out of school for nearly 8 years but I've been in the accounting industry for nearly 10 years, specifically the financial services company (private equity) which has little relevance for the material, with the exception of partnership taxation/SEC filings.

So glad that I don't have to pick that book back up! Congrats to the other passers and for the non-passers, don't be discouraged, give yourself plenty of time to digest the material and take the homework questions over and over to engrave it in your heads – you'll get it!
