Finally done! 81 on BEC!! Its been over 2 years since I started taking these exams, even had two of them expire. So for all of you feeling discouraged, stay persistent! As cliche as it sounds, there is a light at the end of the tunnel

I did horrible!! This was my first time taking FAR and I got a super low score. I did study every weekday for about 4 hours and I studied on Saturdays for about 5 hours. I used Becker. I have been out of school for about 5 years and currently work in a position not related in accounting. Any advice is greatly appreciated please!! I am planning on retaking it in the beginning of October.

it happens…I would focus on your weaker areas and with FAR I would prep on your journal entries for the simulations. A lot of people do the MCQ but do not focus on the JE's which is heavily tested on the SIMs. I have to retake FAR next month as well. Goodluck!

FAR ND 551 – 66

Just got the score this morning.

I didn't feel good about JE going into the exam and it is evident in my score. I estimated a mid-sixties score and got it. I started reading the book from the beginning the day after the test, so I am focused on killing it in early Oct. I'll see you all in the Q4 Far group.

@ericka same here! I failed FAR and it's my first test. I bombed the sims, I didn't realize you can use the authoritative literature. MCQs I paced myself 35-40 minutes per testlet and they got harder. Thought I did good as I had plenty of time, but then SIMs proved to be difficult with the journal entries! UGHHHHHH!!!!!

Will be retaking by mid October 😉 Head up strong and not giving up!
