I do a bunch of MC, and read the explanation on the ones I miss, as well as the ones I'm not sure of, just keep on doing them as many times as possible. On the sims, last time, I worked them, and on the ones I missed/hated, I wrote the whole thing down, and went over them until I pretty much had them memorized. Rereading and rewriting Jeff's notes also helped a bunch. I'm following that formula now.

Ancel, that is a great idea and something I will do for the next exam.

Also, on the score report it said “Audit Advisory Score.” what does that mean? It usually just has the subject then the score, but never with the advisory part.

Thanks and Congratulations to you! 76 or 96…the only thing anyone will ever care about is that we passed! Doesn't it feel great? I am filling out my CPA application first thing on Monday. Bad thing is my boss is out until after labor day so he can't sign my experience form. But it will be on it's way on 9/2.

How's your dog? Mine is doing great and now that the curse of the “day before the exam” is done, hopefully he'll do great on his new chemo regiment.

@NicoleL- so glad to hear your dog is doing well! My guy seems to be doing good- no more UTI and he's eating like a horse.

Anybody else still waiting on their BEC scores from CA? I tested on July 24 and my NTS # was 550. Never had to wait this long and hoping it's going to be worth it….

Received my California BEC score yesterday morning (8/23/14) at 5:30am. Passed with a 76! whooo

I felt like there was no way I passed that test when I walked out of the building on July 31st… continuing on my study plan for the next test, less than a month away seemed somewhat futile… But Boom! Unbelievable! I did work my tail off and felt very prepared going in with my CPA Excel course, I watched videos, read and answered the questions on most everything, but man, the actual exam questions were intense and way more detailed than I ever would have dreamed.
