    I just listen to Becker video lecture and highlight. After that I read the highlighted portions & mark pages for key concepts with those colored sticky notes then on to MC.

    I should note I go over key material on the reg. but just 30-45 min worth max/8pgs every morning. You see something everyday you'll remember it -especially with formulas and mnemonics.

    Oh sorry about that, but any tips on how to improve on simulations?

    I'm not much of a lecture person and that didn't help one bit for me when I took FAR the first time. In fact, it probably killed a few months for me. Anyways, I'm going to start writing some of the notes down and see how that works. Aside from Wiley test bank, and Ninja MCQs, is there any other sites available for practice questions?

    For simulations you just really need to understand why you got your multiple choice questions wrong. Simulations are just in-depth multiple choice questions that test if you really know the material or not.

    @cpahopeful11-On the simulations, utilize the AL during your exam. Sometimes, you can find answers to your sims word for word in the AL, so that'll get you a few points.

    Switch to other programs so that you don't have the questions memorize. Each one you missed, write it down and make sure you understand why you missed it.

    FAR 82
    REG 76
    BEC 71, 78 (There is a light!!!)
    AUD 69, 83 (DONE!!!!)

    Interesting, I never thought the AL would be useful for FAR simulations. That is something I will definitely try next time around. This prior time for FAR was the first time I was comparable on the MC section.

    I really don't get what happened in Audit, but I did receive a 70 not so long ago so I could definitely pass that one as well. Lets see if the things I switch up work the next time around. Thanks for all the help and encouraging words, I definitely needed it. Thanks!

    CPAhopeful I don't know if you are still taking advice but if I were you at this point I would just buy becker. That's all I use nothing else and I passed far with an 86 and BEC with an 87 the only two time I have taken the exam. If you satisfy the Becker promise (which I didn't even do the 1st two times because of a time constraint) there is almost no way you can fail and if you do they will let you retake the class for free. Otherwise you have the software for 18 months so I figure if I fail and don't satisfy the Becker promise I can still study because I'll retake it within 18 months since I downloaded the software. They claim there pass rate is double compared to people who don't use Becker so that means instead of a 45% chance of passing you have a 90% chance of passing. Its expensive so that might be a problem but if you really want to pass it and not retake the exam anymore I would purchase Becker.

    @BCC123 – No, I'm going crazy instead! 🙂

    Have you gotten yours? Last time, I swear I got it on Saturday before 6am. Do you think they're waiting until they get in to the office at 8?

    FAR - 93 (YAY!!!!)
    REG - 93 (Double YAY!)
    BEC - 87 (Whew!)
    AUD - 96 (DONE!!!!!)

    @maxwillguy

    Ya, it was one hell of a month. I'm trying to pass these tests before I start work in October. I did pass FAR :), but when I walked out I was 80% sure that I failed lol

    Such a relief that that beast of a test is over. The volume of material is definitely overwhelming
