California.. I received my FAR score, but BEC says (score pending). Does that mean I'm on the bubble??? -_-

For you guys that have passed or are passing, how much do you guys study before the exam? What do you guys do? After failing on seven consecutive times, I need to change things up. As I posted on the prior page, I do study every single day and it is not working. I get so discouraged when I see people post scores in the 80s or 90s, as that seems impossible to me. I'm not ready to quit but things have to change quickly or else I will never be able to pass.

@DingDing Welcome to the club. I honestly think this bubble is made up.

@CPAHOPEFUL11 Just do a lot of multiple choice. Stop reading and reading it doesn't help much unless we are talking about audit. But for the other exams doing a lot of multiple choice is what carries you through. IMHO

EDIT: At least 2 weeks of MC is what works for me. Then I go over those same MC questions to see if i get it. If i don't I go back to the book to understand what I missed -then more MC

    REG 535 CA – 86

I can't believe it and am beyond relieved. This is probably rarely said, but I think the sims actually saved me on this test. I definitely lucked out on the questions I happened to get (and believe me, I am not a tax person).

    FAR - 91 ✓
    AUD - 95 ✓
    REG - 86 ✓
    BEC - 95 ✓

    CA ethics exam - 84, 94 ✓

CA – Passed REG! One more left!

Ps if anyone hasn't seen their score on the status page on the CBA site, check the score report. Mine wasn't on the status page, but was on the score report page.

    I'M SO EXCITED

I do plenty of MCQs though. Every single section that I study for the day, I do the HW MCQs, along with the Wiley MCQs.

So awesome you took 2 so close together. I can't imagine. Did you pass FAR? That test was so unwieldy for me with the sheer volume of material.

    FAR - Passed (2/14)
    REG - Passed (5/14)
    Audit - Passed (8/14)
    BEC - 8/31

@CPAHOPEFUL11, agreed with smoothjazz; do as much multiple choice as possible. And I don't personally suggest studying every single day, you can wear yourself out. I actually took a 3 day break from studying the week of my FAR exam.

    FAR - 8/4/14 - 91!
    REG - 8/29/14 - 90!
    BEC - 10/24/14 - 90!
    AUD - 11/21/14 - 85! I'm done!

@CPAHOPEFUL I usually like hit MC 2 weeks before the test after I'm done with studying. That means I stop reading, except for 1-2 key printouts, and focus on MC -without studying that day. That way I know what I'm retaining. If i get it wrong I go back to review but don't retake the same quiz until at least a couple days have passed.

And like goducks15 said take it easy before the test…

So prior to just doing MCQs, how exactly do you study?

Roger, Wiley, and Ninja notes. For FAR, I added Ninja MCQs and will do the same for AUD.
