As CalCPA said, it depends on what you are trying to get from a supplement. Wiley provides practice on MCQ and the Ninja notes highlights the key points of the material. I used both and prepared for the exam in two weeks, but that's all I did during that time. This was what I did:
INITIAL RUN THROUGH – for each section I
–Read the Becker text and made notes
–Read the associated Wiley material
–Did the Wiley text MCQ
REVIEW
— using the CSO as a guideline I did the following for each section
–Read the Becker review notes
–Read the Ninja notes
–Read my notes and rewrote the formulas onto a separate page
–Went thru the Becker Passmaster questions
–Did the Wiley test bank questions
–went through formulas again
–did additional problems in my weak areas
I had access to the Becker text and Passmaster questions but wasn't using the entire program so I'm not familiar with the Becker review. I know that there are things you need to do in order to get the Becker guarantee, but, for me, the review process I described is what worked best for me for all of the exams.
Just to summarize–
WILEY
Lots of MCQ to practices, can go through it much more quickly than problems on paper and have instant reenforcement if you use the study mode
However, I don't know how often it's updated and it's organized much differently than Becker for BEC
NINJA
Highlights the essential points and explains things differently so it may clarify certain topics more than your current text – for me at least, they were especially helpful with IT
It's been updated for the 7/1 CSO
However, it doesn't provide any MCQ practice
FAR 4/1/11 - 89
AUD 4/15/11 - 85
REG 4/29/11 - 80
BEC 5/13/11 - 85
