    If you take the exam on May 31st and the AICPA receives your Prometric files on June 1st…do you still get your score on August 17th?

    The way I see it, I'll pass and have nothing but a few months to worry about.

    I wonder what they are going to do about this credit extension going forward…it seems like they should just either extedn the rule or just leave it at 18..its not really fair to have some states allow it and others not to…

    Holy molly!!!! What is going on??? They only release score 3 times for the rest of 2017! I thought they could come back to normal after August.

    BTY, I think we should come to together to tweet to NASBA make our testing environment more real world work environment as well. I did it as follow, lol.

    @NASBA
    When shall we align our testing environment more real world like as well – dual monitors and real excel?

    Hi Guys,

    I have a question which may be naive. My FAR score is expiring in June 30th. I took my last section AUD on April 24th and as you know, the scores won't be available until August. If I pass the AUD section, would I still lose credit for FAR?

    Many thanks!

    Hi CPAshoes08 – I'm in the same boat. My REG credit expires on July 7th and I'm taking 2 sections in Q2. I'm still waiting on my state board to give me an update on whether they would grant me another testing window if I don't pass all when I find out in August. You should try contacting your state board and see what they plan to do for candidates like you.

    @CPAshoes08 If you sit for and pass a section within the 18 month window, you're fine no matter how long it takes the score to be released. They look at the date you sat, not the date you were notified of your score.

    @VDP & @jia2705

    Thank you so much guys for your input! I was so worried about that. This exam turned out to be worse than anything else I had to deal with at college… Waiting for August.

    Despite the AICPA narrowing the release window from 3 days to one specific day per exam, is there any hope they still release early? I have had a few people mention that they think the scores may be released at an earlier date.

    So what do we think the chances of early release are? I understand that they need to figure out exactly how they are going to grade every question, curve it, what % of people pass, etc… but it just seems unlikely that it will take the next 10 weeks to design this. You have to think that they already have a basic idea how the formulas are going to work. I think that's part of the issue though… none of us know anything about how this is scored. Am I going against people in my area or the whole country? Am I getting the same test no matter what day I take it (or does the day/time matter for what test I receive?) How is the percentage so similar every quarter if there isn't curving happening? (You would think that at least once there would be a wild quarter of a 40% or 60% pass of FAR)

    Saying that, do you think that they will just hold onto the scores until mid-August even if it is 100% done in the beginning of July?

    (I know that it is more than likely that it will just be released the exact date predicted… but I just wanted to start a fun/hopeful discussion)

    Any answer to that question is 100% speculation. Could I see them saying they need until the middle of august just as a precaution and release earlier? Sure. Will that happen? Who knows.

    I am so angry at the AICPA because they know exactly how they are grading these exams before they even launched the new one and yet they are still denying it. In business, it is called a basic planning strategy.

    Why take so long to release the scores? In my opinion, they are just waiting until your scores expire for parts you already passed so you will have to take them again. They are also increasing difficulty like with BEC which had the highest passing score.

    @jia2705 CT is offering an extension to anyone with scores expiring in Q2 or Q3. Also your test date should be used, not the day you get the score. So if you sit and pass before the expiration of your test you are GRAVY
