    Hi everyone,

I am about to start studying for my AUD retake. I think I gave myself enough time away from it (while I took BEC) and I might be ready to give it another try. I am trying to figure out what the best way to tackle it this time around will be.

Do I restudy everything like studying from ScraP? or do I brush up on the areas I did well and restudy areas that I Failed? Any recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

I failed AUD in November too. I had no clue how to begin studying, but I just started from scratch. Do you have Becker? I do. I did not rewatch the lectures. I do a lot better reading. So I read each little section then wrote notes out on each section. I really understood what I was reading and each chapter before moving to another chapter. When I work the MCQ I read the question and answers in its entirety. I rule out the wrong answers by saying why they are wrong. When I completed all of the chapters, I studied Chapter 3 and 4 heavily. I have the test tomorrow. I feel a lot better about it this time, than last time. Last time, I rushed through the exam and didn't truly understand what AUD was all about. It's word tricky! I can email you the layout of my notes if you want. Just to give you an idea of the layout. I used excel, each tab is on a different section. If I can memorize where I placed everything in excel it will help me on exam day… I hope.

Thanks CPA Someday! That'd be great if you can email that my email is diiorio.jimena@gmail.com.

I really appreciate the advice. I was not looking forward to watching all the lectures over again. I hope IFRS didn't hit this exam too hard. I guess I could watch lectures for any IFRS part if the book is not clear enough. I can see how reading would be more useful for a subject like this.

GOOD LUCK on your exam and thanks for your help!

I failed AUD in Nov too…I just purchased the Gleim questions because they should have all the updates but didnt want to go through all the old materials again. I did two testlets per study unit and then went over any areas that I got a low score on. I have a pretty good feeling about it – I'm taking my test tomorrow.

    FAR 82
    AUD 81 (2007), 73, 80
    REG 68 (2010), 76
    BEC 58 (2007), 75 DONE!!!!
