Hey everyone,

So I am taking REG this upcoming Wednesday. I have heard that REG barely ever has any simulations that cover the business law part of the exam. Has anyone taken it recently that can either support or deny this? It’s greatly appreciated!

I read elsewhere on this forum that one of the review instructors said that it was possible to get a b-law SIM. I think it was someone from Roger or Yaeger but don't remember for sure.

In the REG cram, Phil said not to count out a blaw sim. He said it could happen! Be prepared.

I see you took REG this past April. Did you have any blaw sims yourself or you just read about it?

ChrisCPA, nobody can tell you if they had blaw sims. It's that pesky disclosure rules 😉

ExhaustedCPA is right. I can't tell you the topics on my exam beyond the percentages given in the CSO. I can say that I thought the REG SIMS were tougher than those on FAR. The main differences were obscurity of topics and poor wording. I'm not saying that FAR was perfect, but I found more confusingly worded questions on REG than on FAR. If you get one or more of these, just make your best guess as to what's being asked and move on.
