I consider myself a seasoned and good standardized test taker and yet below was my experience:

I felt GREAT coming out of BEC. In fact, I had 19 minutes to spare. Score: 83.

I felt LOUSY DURING the FAR exam. I had never felt like such a failure walking out of Prometric. Yet, I passed with a score of 80.

AUD was another section I felt confident about. Only this time I was right on — 95.

I had no idea how I did for the REG section. Still, I managed to pass with an 89.

Bottom line: There is not telling how well or badly you really did, which is why the wait for scores is so excruciating. Hopefully the AICPA will come through with its reform and shorten the wait time significantly down the road. Good luck to everybody that is still fighting this beast!

What I wanna know is why snail mail states are allowed to exist in this day and age… I am unfortunately testing in NC. By the time we receive our scores, all available spots for at minimum the first month of the next testing window have already been taken. This is due to every other non-snail mail state already having received their scores two weeks prior. Hopefully I will pass Audit. There is already no option for me to retake it in July if I don't! So whatever.

@CPA Stooge – You rock. What a great suggestion. This makes me so happy. After failing AUD/BEC both this past test window, it is helpful for people to know that when you re-apply, as soon as you are approved, you can pull your NTS number from the Nasba website. I wish the Nasba reps when I called were that helpful!

I was successfully able to re-schedule both tests. Here we go again!!!

I found out on thursday am that I passed REG with a 76. That means that I can finally say that I am DONE. Wow I can't believe I just completed the hardest thing of my life. But with prayer and determination I have passed all four parts.
