    I would maybe supplement whatever your studying with another course to practice the sims. Alot of people dont really focus on this, but i know i failed a test earlier in the year over this. They are now worth 40% which is a big deal. Even if the Sims are not exactly like they are on the exam its all about getting comfortable with the format and making sure you dont panic when it comes to the test. I used Gleim for FAR and got about 40 extra sims for like $200 and I passed (using Becker as well). Good luck and your almost there.

    I hate the AICPA…still waiting on my FAR score from NY.

    @pshustler – The 22nd was torture. They need a new name for what they are doing to us now. This is my last one, and I'm trying to plan a wedding that would go a lot smoother if I can figure out if I need to study and fork over more money or not!

    try simulation with wiley 2011 test bank! they are great and also i studied with yager and made a 92!

    @Hate-the-process ~ Are these scores that were released from AICPA to NASBA? I am confused? Someone please explain… I still have not received my BEC score for NY NTS #450. Obviously, I was not in the first 9,000 scores released on Monday so how will we know when additional scores come out. Is NASBA going to tweet that AICPA released another bunch of scores or are they just going to appear online at some point and I need to keep checking until June 30th because it could be at any time?

    @flfuturecpa ~ I don't think NASBA has them because if they did, wouldn't they be able to pull it up in there system. How are we going to find out when additional scores are released is my question??? Is Jeff around anymore or has he given up on us?

    I think it depends a lot on how you learn and what your study style is, but I found that if I knew the information, the sims shouldn't trip you up (doesn't mean you shouldn't practice them, though!) I watched the lecture and made highlights and notes in the book, did the questions, wrote out notes from my highlights, did the questions again, and then typed my notes to go through it one last time the week of the test. Seems like a lot, but it really does reinforce by repetition. Now, did I ever finish any of them, no. But that was the method I was going through (and I still had a life). 🙂 Good luck and don't get discouraged- this is a friggin hard test!

    For whatever reason, last window there were numerous people from MN who had to call NASBA about scores. Supposedly there were hangups in their system that had to be manually overridden for our scores to be posted.

    If you're from a 24-48 hour release state (such as MN) and others have gotten scores but you haven't, it's worth calling them to see if they have your score and if it *should* be available.

    In my case, my OASIS had updated but my scores just simply weren't appearing on the score release page. So I could tell there was a score, but it wasn't showing up online. I emailed to complain and they were able to fix it.

    FAR - 73, 82
    REG - 72, 82
    BEC - 84 DONE!!!!!! 🙂
