@Erin–yeah I considered that course of action if I didn't get my community college classes approved at the time. But I was able to get a letter from A&M saying that all the community college courses I took qualified for a degree program at A&M. Luckily I got my classes done at Blinn in College Station and they work closely with A&M….maybe that's why I was able to…never actually thought about it that much.

You are right Allyson! And we all need inspiration and I truly appreciate you all and your posts. It really helps. My family, friends and co-workers are very supportive but it is those of us “in the trenches” that truly understand how challenging this exam can be. It is one of the most difficult things I've had to face and I'm almost 43. But We Can Do It!!!!!!!

I took the two intro accounting courses at HCC and knew they wouldn't count towards my masters. Ended up having a semester free before I started masters program and took some online Acct courses at HCC which I wasn't sure if they'd count or not. It was pretty cheap, though, and I figured it would give me a head start even if I had to redo them. U of H didn't give credit for them because they weren't considered upper level courses since course number started with 2. Course content turned out to be the same, though, and even used same book for intermediate 1. Included business law course I took last summer at HCC on application of intent but doubted they'd count it for same reason U of H didn't give credit for my earlier courses. Not surprisingly, only my undergrad and masters classes counted towards 150 requirement
