@ Keep Trying. Thanks for the words of wisdom. I know your statements regarding MBA vs CPA are right on the money. I was unemployed for 12 months in 2009 and beginning of 2010 and it seemed like all mid level accounting jobs required a CPA (one, just one, required passing on first try, can you believe that?). Anyway: that is why I started this trek; I truly believe the CPA is an important designation. Here is hoping that I get a pass on AUD on Monday. But even if I don't, you are right; I can't give up! THANKS! And good luck on your scores. I'm pulling for you!

    B 5/16 - 68
    A 68, 74, 5/28
    R 60
    F 4/18 - 61

Hopefully, the AICPA will have a big release today of all the sections that were left behind.

Historically, they have almost always had a Friday release to NASBA.

@you can do it….I've been at this for a long time…and even took a long break in between because i thought i couldn't do it anymore…I know if I ever give up…I'm teaching my son it's okay to give up when it's tough. I also know that I will constantly think of myself as some sort of failure and I can't do that. My dad taught me to always have positive self talk and never let anyone determine my future for me. He literally told me before my last exam “if you fail to plan you plan to fail” and his true Navy Seal motto “the only easy day was yesterday”.

    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

@hurry up and wait–here is what I said….the post was around page 51 or so:

If getting the CPA is important to you don't give up…those three letters set you apart from so many other people in the accounting world; trust me I've worked in public accounting and industry…having a CPA was best summed up by one of my old bosses. She said something to the affect of “Anyone can get a masters if they are willing to pay the money for it; but someone with determination and goals passes the CPA exam. So the masters degree is always trumped by the CPA exam when I look at resumes. There is a different respect level for a CPA then someone with their Masters degree.”

    REG-80, 77, 77
    BEC-67, 68, 71, 67, 71, 74, 71, 74, 72, 77
FAR- 72, 65,67, 53, 75 (truth be known the 53 was with 4 hours of studying)
    AUD-58, 62, 72, 74, 74, 75
took 5 years but I'm DONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
